The Perfect Getaway

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip. The cabin was beautiful and every detail was carefully thought out. The view from the gazebo was breathtaking. The location was exactly what we needed to help unwind and relax. We can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely perfect!

Cannot recommend this cabin enough! The property is beautiful, secluded, and well maintained. The cabin itself is lovely, very comfortable, and immaculately clean. It has everything you might need, including washer/ dryer and dishwasher. Well stocked kitchen. We were able to access great hiking trails and had fun exploring Asheville and nearby towns.

Little bit of heaven in the mountains.

Wonderful stay in a comfortable but authentic historic log cabin. We would highly recommend this destination for anyone but the very elderly who might be very challenged by the steps and stairs. The place is stunningly beautiful and complete with amenities. And the owners are great folks. If you want a quiet and private getaway, this place if for you! And don't be put off by comments about the road. The road and driveway are fine. We had no problem at all.

We are very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you back sometime in the future (in spite of the steps and stairs)!!

Cozy Private Retreat

This beautifully crafted, traditionally designed, one of a kind cabin is a dream come true for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy a quiet stay. The property is beautiful, you even hear turkeys hollering at times. The view has a wonderful mix of trees and mountains. Sitting around the fireplace relaxing or the outdoor firepit roasting marshmallows will quickly become your favorite activity. The hosts are amazing, kind and very responsive. They have truly made this a must stay place to enjoy the North Carolina mountains.

Great Cabin and mountain view

We enjoyed the cabin, front porch gazebo, and walking around the many acres of property. The stairs to the loft bedroom are steep as is the gravel drive which required us to go slow with our front wheel drive car, but we enjoyed this as part of the mountain experience. There is no wifi, but the DVD player was nice for a relaxing movie after a long hike in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The fans on the loft are very helpful in hot weather since the heat rises up to that level.
