We enjoyed our time at the cabin on the pond. It was very cozy and relaxing and had everything we needed for a great mountain get-away. And we saw the duck-couple and a family of deer hanging around the pond every day we were there. And just a quick trip to "downtown" Little Switzerland. We hope to visit again soon!
We absolutely loved our visit at your beautiful cabin nestled off of the busy highway, it was so quite and peaceful. We saw lots of wildlife. We saw deer, rabbits, squirrels; and of course the ducks that were never more than a foot apart from each other. They are the cutest couple, swimming across the pond on and off throughout the day. I also found the decor so beautifully put together, and the driveway wasn't bad at all. We didn't have any issues. We would definitely return.
Pond water level was low due to drought. Saw four deer, two duck, three Hawks, squirrel, rabbit and one bear

Thank you so much Jim and Sharon!
It made my day reading In our guest book how much you enjoyed your stay- the porch mornings wity coffee, evenings by the fire with hotdogs and s‘mores, and all the wonderful wildlife. Im especially glad you loved the massages you recieved by my co-worker and i at the Switzerlamd Inn. We welcome you back anytime.
There was plenty of room for my family and sister’s family. I felt the price was a little expensive for how uncomfortable the beds were. We had a hard time sleeping overall and it was hot at night. The host also claimed we damaged the gravel, I’m not sure how you damage gravel but we did not get our damage deposit back. I wish the pictures included pictures of the second bedroom. Again, a good size and the kids liked to run around the pond. Thanks for having us.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad your family enjoyed the cabin and the children had fun around the pond.
I would like to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The cabin is equipped with a wall mounted air conditioning unit. Had you contacted us during your stay about the temperatures ,we would have been happy to help troubleshoot or address any concerns.
Regarding the security deposit, it was withheld because an unauthorized visitor drove onto the property and spun their tires in the gravel driveway, creating deep ruts that require repair. The deposit was applied toward the cost of restoring the driveway.
Thank you again for your stay, and we wish you and your family the best.
House was clean and everything we needed was there. We enjoyed outings around our location but also loved spending time at the house. Host responded quickly with any questions and gave us updates on road/driveway conditions as needed. Views are picture perfect!
We give this cabin a 10 not 5

It was my pleasure. I am so happy you had a great stay! It was really nice meeting you two.. you are welcome back any time!
My fiancé and myself had a wonderful weekend together in this beautiful cabin! The location is beautiful waking up to sit on the porch during the cool mornings with a hot cup of coffee over looking the pond and being able to watch the wildlife in the area! Plus its next to a nice little town with plenty to do in the area!!
We loved the cabin, family room and masterbedroom are huge and very inviting! We cooked several meals here and kitchen was fully furnished, not lacking anything! Though we did not need to use all the bedrooms everything was very clean! Location was lovely, with a small pond in front, that we enjoyed seeing several deer both early in the morning and early evening! Our host Marsha was very accommodating and quick to respond to all of our questions, both before we committed to our stay and while we were there! Would highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again!!
Our family came from Wilmington NC to spend a few days in the mountains. This comfortable cabin provided a peaceful escape from summer heat and a happy gathering place. Cabin is furnished with everything they needed. The pond reflected the blue sky and beauty of the mountains during the day and provided a soundtrack of Nature at night.
We met friends from another state and enjoyed our time a this rustic remote location. Just what was needed to catch-up with old friends. Place was well equipped and the wildlife was abundant.
Willow is a great place to rest after a long day exploring the numerous stops along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location is conveniently located near the parkway without all of the traffic.
Marsha was an excellent host, with great communication, willing to help with whatever we needed.
