Happiness is only a block away from the lake.
This 2 bedroom home has polished wooden floors, large open plan living and perfect for the small family or a couple who want a get away. Nestled in a prime location amongst the bird area in Taupo. Free Wifi. 2 mins walk to the beach and along the lake front to town or the walking track to 5 Mile bay, this is your super handy to everything place. Bring the boat or your bikes the garage is lockable. Small dogs welcome.

Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining, indoor/outdoor flow.
Big section with space to park all the toys. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, parks and the town Centre.

Whole house

We like to give our guests their privacy but we is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.

This is a very safe and family friendly neighbourhood.

Park up the car, walk, scooter and bike.

Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.

Instructions and access was excellent to this perfectly positions family bach get away in Taupo. The kitchen was well set up, which made cooking a breeze. Great little place to stay which was better value than any motel options due to the second room.

Great Short Break

We had a lovely stay at the property. It was a quick walk to the water and an easy walk into town. It had everything we needed and it was great that it was dog friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Matariki weekend away

Comfy stay. Heat pump and gas heater great. Walking distance to the lake. Our fur babies enjoyed the stay too. It would be better if the property was fenced, but we enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

Property overall in need of some TLC. Beds weren't comfortable and neither was the lounge furniture, which is very old and worn.Cleanliness and linen was top notch. Location excellent.

Perfect location

Surprisingly it was a very quiet area. Bonus of being able to take the dog with us. Enjoyed our stay, the only negative would be the couch which isn't very comfortable.

Great spot for a stopover in Taupo

The proximity to the lakefront and town is a great benefit to this property. The home is generally well presented, though some gardening wouldn't go astray. Thanks Kerry!

All that you need

Great little holiday home - all the basics are there that make the property work for a simple bach to base yourself while you are in Taupo. We always appreciate somewhere that is pet friendly and has usable and safe lock up garage for storage of bikes etc too.

Family weekend in Taupo

Perfect property for our family weekend in Taupo with plenty of space and very quiet. The bathroom sink drains needed clearing but I am sure this has been done and it didn't effect out stay.

Huia St Taupo

Clean house and convenient location but many things not up to par inside e.g. power points that didn't work for the microwave and hairdryer, uncomfortable couch and lots of marks and damage. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us though.

Okay for a night

good communication with the property manager, great location, don’t except any more than that though. The house is old and needs to be renovated. Very little kitchen equipment, bare minimum. The washing machine looks new but the laundry room is old too and we found cockroaches on the floor. Good for one night if you’re passing by but I wouldn’t stay a week. The price was okay though compared than other properties in Taupo

Enjoyed Stay.

Great Location. Price of stay per night should be lowered. Chairs and Furniture very dated. Most frustrating was a shower door, which was damaged, and was hard to keep closed. The manager said shower door could not be replaced or repaired. Several lights were not working, obviously the house is not checked on a regular basis. I felt I was over charged for the lack of quality I and my wife experienced.
