Welcome to Piney Island Paradise! This well-furnished townhouse is nestled in a secluded cul-de-sac along East Side Drive and offers some of the best views of Assateague Island and the historic lighthouse located across the channel. The channel on Eastside offers some of the calmest water for kayaking, plentiful crabbing, and great fishing. Enjoy the most beautiful sunrise views from this vacation home along with quiet solitude! This home also offers 2 kayaks for your enjoyment!

Upon entering this home, you will find a half bath, first floor bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a well-stocked kitchen, living room, and large waterfront deck with plenty of seating to relax, enjoy the wildlife, and watch the ponies grazing on Assateague Island. On the 2nd floor you will find two more bedrooms as well as the laundry area. The main suite features a king-sized bed with a full bathroom and waterfront deck to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and beautiful sunrise views. You will also find a 3rd bedroom that easily accommodates 5 more guests. This room features a twin over twin bunk, a twin over full bunk, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. This home also includes a nice assortment of beach chairs and a small attached garage where you can store your bicycles and kayaks. If you are looking for a home with all the amenities and want to enjoy the beauty of Chincoteague & Assateague Island, this is it!

The good first- Beautiful unmatched view! With Binoculars you really can see ponies on Assateague from our balcony and wildlife galore. Nicely decorated with all amenities you need. Easy to find wuiet and out of the way.The bad- Never went somewhere to stay where we had to put the clesn sheets on my bed ..... not good after a 10 hour drive. We had to haul the towels and sheets upstairs...oh did I say towels...no no no lets call them what they really are...white sandpaper that can remove rust to bare metal! The bathtub needs handles or grips( I will bring suction grips next time) bottom of tub slippery no foot tiles to avoid a fall. So it all worked and we would come back. Very clean snd safe!

What a wonderful place! Everything was clean and neat. The location is the best you can get on Chincoteague, right across from the lighthouse. LOVE that the house provides 2 kayaks, as well as beach chairs and boogie boards for the family to use. I have 2 minor complaints. ONE: It was frustrating at how SO LITTLE was provided re: basic necessities. There were NO paper towels, NO hand soap in any bathroom. One small roll of TP in each bathroom. The listing mentions that they "get us started" with these supplies....but BARELY. I am not sure I have ever been in a rental like that that did not supply hand soap in the bathrooms and at least a roll of paper towels. TWO: With the amount of money we pay for this place, one would think they could make the beds and provide decent towels. After a long trip, it was not fun to have to make the beds. I was alerted to the poor bath towels from another person posting, so I was prepared with my own. But it would be nice if the owners would consider upgrading their bath towels, have the beds made, and providing hand soap in the bathrooms and paper towels.That said....IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I have been on Chincoteague. The furniture on the decks were perfect for our family and having a dock to sit on and launch a kayak from was wonderful. We were greeted with all sorts of birds including a family of eagles, many herons and of course the ponies. THANK YOU for a great visit!
