Great Location- Great Hosts

Accommodations were perfect for us and our dog!Great location close to Elk Lake, biking and trails. Short drive to downtown shops/attractions. Great coffee shop/bakery 5 mins away. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Only regret was that we were too early for blueberries:) We will definitely be back.

Sparton Acres Farm is a little piece of paradise, both for humans and their pets. The natural environment of the property is just wonderful! Tall trees all around, the blueberry field, peace and quiet. One forgets all about the hustle and bustle of the city and gets to completely relax.The suite is situated on top of the double garage, has a large bedroom with double closet and TV, spacious living room with couches, desk and TV, functional kitchen space with large double door fridge, wonderful new stove and microwave, breakfast table and spacious bathroom with bathtub/shower. It must be well insulated as we fared really well during a short few days of 28C.Our dog had the time of his life in the blueberry field and even found a great play mate. We really enjoyed our late afternoon relaxing time in the field as well, observing the wild life, eagles, bunnies, quail. The warm sun coupled with the freshness of the grass, the cool breeze and the embrace of the trees around us, was ever so soothing.The host, Ron, was very friendly and helpful and the communication was excellent.Little details: The soft well water was wonderful for our hair and skin. The blueberries were delicious. There is a little artisan bakery just next to Mosi’s cafe, with a sign that says ‘Salad’, that has excellent bread and other divine baked goods.
