We are a couple from Toronto - Tahnee owns a fashion brand called Pretty Denim and Bob owns an advertising agency called Bob's Your Uncle. We spend a few months in the winter working from our house in Bequia where we have family connections.

Why they chose this property

Admiralty View is a very special property - it was built by a woman who lived here for 30 years until she passed away a few years ago. It's truly a hidden gem, even locals who come up to visit comment on the view and the open graciousness of the house. It's in a location that's central but off the road in a place only visible to a few neighbours. It allows us to live without a vehicle - we walk the hills as our primary exercise and take full advantage of our proximity to the sea. The property is fertile and we are adding more fruit trees and a garden.

Working from here usually means sitting on the deck all day long, sneaking inside only for video calls where the view would be too much of a distraction.

Sitting on the living room couch you see only the sea...as if the edge of the house were an infinity edge.
