About the home
“Woolamai Sands” is a double-storey family home in Cape Woolamai just a comfortable walk from the safe swimming beach and a short drive from the surf beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The ground floor of the home has a large open plan Living/Dining Room (with smart tv & dvd player) that provides access out to the patio and rear yard, Kitchen (with delightful garden outlook), Bedroom 1 (with built in robes), Bedroom 2, a large bathroom (with corner shower, toilet & washing machine). Upstairs is another Kitchen (not fully set up), open plan Living Room (with smart tv) providing access to the upstairs balcony, Bedroom 3 with dual-entry ensuite (with shower over a hip-bath), a seperate toilet and Bedrooms 4 and 5.
Outdoor Areas
The fully enclosed rear and side yard is perfect for children and pets and features a childrens cubby house with swings and a slide. The downstairs partially covered patio has a newly installed electric heated 6-seater spa, table & seating for 8 and a gas bbq, the upstairs partially covered balcony also has table & seating for 8 with delightful garden views. The driveway provides space for 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat). Additional parking is available beyond the gate, but please do not park on the grass.
Kitchens
The fully appointed downstairs kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top. The upstairs kitchen has a double sink, full sized fridge and a 23L portable convection oven.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners; one in each of the upstairs and downstairs living rooms, plus five additional stand-alone heaters and five fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 11 beds, plus 2 sofa beds, accommodating up to 16 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One set of King Single bunks and one King Single trundle bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 5 (Upstairs): One set of Tri-bunks
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it
There are also two Double sofa beds in the upstairs living room that are each set up for 1 adult or child
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
