Great family holiday with kids

Great house! Walking distance to beach and park. Well equipped with kids toys, beach buggy, trampoline and sandpit. We loved our stay great for the kids!

Close to everything in Loch Spirt

Everything is provided for a large group to have a great time in Loch Sport. We celebrated New Years Eve with a BBQ on the balcony. Fabulous views of the marina and the lake. Walking distance to everything - playground, carnival, pub, beach. Pet friendly but not fenced. Plenty of toys provided for the little kids and tvs (and a Wii) in lounges and most bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. Very nice linen and towels. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of glassware, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils provided, including children’s cups, crockery and cutlery. Large fridges, coffee machines and pods in complete kitchens upstairs and downstairs. Laundry provided downstairs. I highly recommend this property for an 8 - 12 person stay.

This property needs an immediate upgrade and does not meet standard expectations.

This property was tacky, filthy, lacking basic ammenities that I expected for the price paid.The hot water system was confusing, even when we had worked out how to use it, the water was tepid. There was no dishwasher. The house both upstairs and down looked as if a family had "just upped and left with "stuff"laying around everywhere both inside and outside! The wall murals are awful, the window fittings (blinds) were horrible, the floors were sticky to walk on, I wish I could get a refund. I rented 2 other houses and there is no comparison to how awful this house is. The only positive is its location.

My husband Adam and I bought this house in 2018 as we wanted somewhere to go away with our Great Dane, Barney. We try to get to Loch Sport as much as we can but as we have a 4.5 hour drive, so it isn't as frequent as we would like with work commitments and just life. We now have 2 young boys, 18 months and 4 years who absolutely love coming to Loch Sport, which is why the house now has so many toys and a trampoline!

Why they chose this property

We have amazing views over the marina and almost everything is walking distance so we basically arrive and the only time we drive anywhere is to the surf beach or fire station market on a Sunday. We love to sit on the deck with a wine and watch the world pass, its so relaxing.

What makes this property unique

As this property is 2 living spaces we wanted downstairs to have an underwater/ beach feel. We had a local artist do a massive underwater mural inside and outside he painted a mural to fit into the Loch Sport nature feel.
