We had a wonderful stay here! Comfortable accommodations and great communication with hosts

Our family of 5 stayed here and we enjoyed roasting Hotdogs, baking potatoes and roasting marshmallows at the camp fire. The beds and recliners are very comfortable. The screened in porch was perfect place to sip coffee, listen to the birds and watch the sunrise The kids enjoyed looking for worms for fishing down by the stream and even saw a few different salamanders. While in the area we went hiking, fishing, kayaking and horse back riding.

Great price, plenty of room and accommodating

The proximity of the cabin to lake was great. Everyone in our group had a bed and slept great. It's not typical for the hosting group to provide the amount of wood we had for campfires. We greatly appreciate that, thanks folks! If anyone is looking to stay in this areas with either a group of friends or family, we all highly suggest this place. Thanks again!

Perfect combo of comfort and rustic!

We loved this cabin! The rustic exterior, fire pit, beautiful rolling wooded surroundings were perfect, the first floor had everything we needed on 1 floor and the kids took over the upstairs. It was very close to cave run lake and 40 minutes to an hour from our favorite Red River Gorge hiking spots. We made family meals daily and the kitchen had everything- except a toaster. Wish we could have enjoyed the screened porch more but the weather was too cold for it.

This was a great weekend get away for our family! The cabin is on a dead end road, so you do have a paved road to walk, without any traffic! Lots of space and well kept. We LOVED this place, and did not want to leave! It was so peaceful!!
