68 Madison is a 5 min. walk to the beach. The private beach in Hither Hills is know as one of Montauks finest. Town is about 1 mile away too. There is a resturaunt within walking distance. The house is located on a corner lot and is very private due to the hedges. There are three large sceen TV's in the house and a well appointed kitchen. The washer and dryer are in the basement. Herb garden, Tomatoes and squash will be ready for harvest!
There is a 7 day minimum and booking start on Saturdays

Gorgeous neighborhood, amazing beach!

The property was very clean, very well organized and super close to the beach.It was the perfect amount of space for our family and our dog. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect rental! Looking forward to going back in the future: )

Overall a very nice stay. We loved the location of Chris’s home- close to Montauk town and walking distance from beautiful beach. Neighborhood was very friendly. Home is well-maintained and had all the supplies needed.

Wonderful House in Hither Hills

Great house a short walk from an amazing beach. Loved walking the dogs with the kids at the beach in the morning and after 6. Outdoor deck perfect for grilling. Very family friendly. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our 1 week stay here . Location is very convenient short drive to the town & few minutes walk to a private ocean front beach . We had eat in dinners using the covered deck & grill . Outside shower made it easier for us to clean up after the beach . Overall nice property !

Location , location , location

Beautiful spot , cannot beat the private ocean beach access and proximity to town. Our favorite spot the covered deck , spent long mornings there. Ryan and Chris responded very quickly to a (gasp) Wi-Fi issue! All resolved - love this place and would definitely rent again!

Much needed break in Montauk

We had a wonderful vacation at this beach home. Very close too beautiful beach ( private -so just a heads up there is no lifeguard and lots of steps down to beach). All our needs were met in the home with very nice master bedroom and bath and another bath and two bedrooms all on the same level which was great for my elderly mother. We really enjoyed the back deck with cover and lovely yard. Also had several nice outdoor meals. Would definitely return to this home.

fabulous stay!

it could only be better if it was directly on the beach - the 2 minute walk or 30 second drive to the beach (parking and beach gate key included with the house!) were just so easy, there is really nothing to complain about! the house has everything, and although it is pet-friendly, there was no "evidence" that it's pet-friendly! clean as can be, and i am an OCD clean person. thank you chris for such a wonderful stay!

Great house for 6 people , central air , two full bathrooms , one outdoor shower 5 min walk to awesome private stretch of beach . 15 min walk to the village , which is good for convience if kids want to do their own thing . And Dave Ryan , our contact while staying at the house was very helpful, the propane ran out while we were there one phone call to him and 35 min later we had a delivery to fill it up , pretty impressive. Definitely planing on a return trip .

Beautiful home. Close to town and beach. Owner was very thoughtful and house stocked with everything! Only issue was refrigerator door and top shelf were filled with items. We bring a lot out so it was tough to find room. Overall one of the nicest homes we have rented. Thank you Chris.

Great for families

I rented this house with my family to spend a week last summer. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen had the perfect size and we used it to cook sometimes. It was a five minute walking distance to the beach - 10 minutes with kids. The garden and lawn was well kept and it had a very nice porche for meals. The listing was accurate and we found the house very clean. The sheets, pillows, everything was pretty new and beds were confortable - on the firm side. We would rent this house again!

Beautiful, cozy home was great for our family of 6! My only comment would be the steps from the private beach was a bit misleading. It's a couple of blocks and crossing a highway, but still very, very close to house.

Lovely home, great location!

Our family has been renting in Montauk for 10 years, mainly on Fort Pond Bay. This house in Hither Hills reminded us how beautiful the beaches in Hither Hills are. The house was lovely, spacious, with a private and quiet back yard and deck that we all enjoyed. A sweet hummingbird feeder attracting these tiny little birds, and fireflies lit up at night. An overall wonderful family vacation. Chris always responded did to any questions, and we appreciated that.

This is a beautiful home! Very clean and comfortable!

We enjoyed staying at 68 Madison. The home was very clean, comfortable and cozy for our family of 6 adults and our dogs. The deck is beautiful- with a nice big table to enjoy dinner outside. The outside shower was amazing- one of our favorite parts of the house! So relaxing to rinse off listening to the birds after a fun day at the beach- which is a very short walk away. If we had any questions, Chris was very quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay in Montauk

I stayed here with my wife and three-year-old daughter. We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean and has all you need for a great vacation. The neighborhood is also excellent. My favorite part of staying here was the short walk down to a wonderful, semi-private beach. I would definitely return!

Perfect

This is my second summer staying at chris’s House - I loved it so much last year that I added a week! House is beautifully kept, everything you could possibly want or need is there and he and Dave are responsive and attentive. Hither Hills is a beautiful neighborhood and the large and not-very-crowded beach is just three blocks away. I love coming out here and chris’s House has a lot to do with it. Drivable (and walkable) to town, quiet, a lot of outdoor space and seating areas (front and back ). It’s easy to feel at home here!

Couldn’t have been better!!

The house was perfect- plenty big, very VERY clean, fully-stocked with anything you might need or want. The yard was big and beautiful. It was easy to get to the beach, which was beautiful, wide, with perfect soft sand. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was amazing.
