TREETOP PARADISE SUITE Breathtaking lake and mountain views 5 min from the beach

Relax on the patio or at the beach on Shuswap lake which is less than 10 minutes to walk to. Close to at least 5 world class golf course and numerous wineries. Suite is only 3 years old with stainless 3 year old appliances and furniture. We do live upstairs so this is not a whole house. The suite is at the height of the tree tops so the view from the patio is breath taking. We always stay in short term rentals when travelling so have used our experiences to try to create the best experience in our rental. Patio is set up with a bbq and a sectional and an eating height table There is even a lounge chair for those sun worshippers to stretch out on

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a load of linens in the washer. If it finishes before you leave then putting in the dryer and starting second load would be great!
Be sure to put all trash in black garbage can and all food waste in big green can
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking on site. All cars must park at bottom

The place was very attractive and nicely arranged. We were gone most days so we did not cook but the kitchen had everything you would need. The location was perfect and close to a golf course. The outside patio was very comfortable and the view was great.

Lovely stay at Treetop Paradise

Our family was so pleased with the walk-in suite and location. We did not require anything. Hosts were very friendly and it was evident they took pride in their home and grounds. They graciously allowed our family to drop off and pack up in their driveway.

Great central location for golfing

We golfed at Shuswap National, Talking Rock and Shuswap Lake GC at Blind Bay! All courses were within approx 30 minutes! Very comfortable VRBO, well kept and the air conditioning was great! We used the BBQ each night and the patio has an amazing view!

Nicely equiped basement suite

I own a vacation rental so I'm familiar with this process from both sides. Everything was clean and like new, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more, even condiments, coffee, spices and laundry detergent. A dish washing cloth would be a nice addition. I'm an early riser but my sister is not so she was awoken each morning by the sounds of the residents from above. There is a gas fireplace to heat the main room but the bedrooms and bathroom were cold. I didn’t see any other heat source.

Unfortunately the WORST hostess.

Where do I begin? I've stayed in many places around Blind Bay for years, and we found this place last minute. The rate was satisfactory for the time we were travelling and although expensive- Canada Day weekend would be worth the cost, or so we thought. The place is situated underneath the owners and you hear everything. This was not listed in the ad, but we didn't mind because usually people who live in Blind Bay are extremely friendly and kind! Deb (the owner) was an absolute nightmare to rent from- it's a shame because this is a brand-new unit that I know her husband spent a fortune on. Theres a beautiful pool, you're not allowed to use it. From the moment we unpacked, she treated us like garbage. The driveway is very steep and the parking stalls are narrow and very hard to get into witbout turning around, but if you try to do that Deb would run out of the upstairs and yell at you to move. She did this to us and I was stunned- she did this to my gf who used the top space just to turn around to park in the correct stall just to pick my sister and I up and Deb told her she needed to move while she was still in motion simply turning around! Then my gf just politely told her she was turning around and just picking me up quick, Debbie told her " I dont give a shit move". We paid $1600 to be told we could do anything to enjoy our vacation and couldn't even park without being screamed at. This lady should not be a vacation rental host
