The continental breakfast was a very nice touch. The stay was amazing, and we would highly recommend it if you want some rest and relaxation. Thank you to the host.
This house was perfect for us to have a base to explore the area. The amenities were great and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the food provided.

Everything was clean & well stocked including supplies for breakfast . Sarah responded quickly to any questions.
One request would be doors on bedrooms otherwise it is a Very cute & quaint cottage. We would recommend & stay again! Thanks Sarah. ❤️
Was a wonderful place to stay that offered peace and quiet. Amazing communication from the property owner and was really thankful we could sign in early. Only suggestion was that the two single beds were really cold and there were no extra blankets to use; and it would have been nice to have a tv at the property for family movie night.
Best part about this stay was the amazing communication and friendliness from the property owner. Thanks :)

Thanks so much for your feedback Sarah, we really try hard to meet the needs of our guests, so thanks so much for the suggestions we will act on them immediately.
We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond. The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration. Good wifi coverage.Thank you for allowing our small dog to stay. Thanks so much Sarah, we really enjoyed our time away and will be back!!

There was no freezer compartment in the fridge but the owner was extremely responsive and froze our freezer blocks for us.
Some improvements could be made in cleaning. There were a few cobwebs around and only having blinds, not curtains meant that it was too light for a good sleep. Perhaps our fault for not researching better.

About the host
Hosted by Sarah, Searle
Local from five generations of our family, we know most things about the area but particularly about the river, harbour and the beach. Happy to help as little or as much as you would like.
Why they chose this property
What we enjoy most is being able to watch the river and have a quiet space with open outlook over the back, we love Te Kopuru as a timewarp of New Zealand, nothing much changes here.
What makes this property unique
the view, the view, the view, and also the peace and serenity
