With room for up to 11 guests, this spacious duplex offers a true four-season escape with ski-in/ski-out access, scenic mountain views, and plenty of space to gather with family and friends.

Inside, vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents, and big windows fill the open-concept main level with natural light. After a day of adventure, cozy up by the fireplace, stream a favorite movie on the sleek TV, or stay cool in the summer with central AC. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up meals with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the essentials you need. With seating for four at the breakfast bar and ten at the dining table, mealtimes are made for sharing stories and laughs.

Four bedrooms are spread across two levels, each designed for comfort and convenience. The main level features a queen bedroom with a TV, while upstairs, three private suites await: one with a king bed, another with a king and private deck, and a third with a bunk bed plus twin—perfect for the kids. A double futon in the den offers extra sleeping space, rounding out accommodations for your group.

We loved staying at the Retreat on Main! We have 6 adults and 4 kids, and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Looking forward to booking in the winter time.

Nice place with several caveats

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this place for a weekend in February. The place was very clean, well appointed with regard to kitchen ware and furniture (although we didn't cook). However, we had multiple issues with our two-day stay. The heat would not stop blowing, despite the thermostat reading 77 and having it set to 72. The management company promptly sent someone to repair it...but the problem recurred. Given that we paid more than $1000 / night, we expected better quality bedding. The sheets were a terrible polyester blend, the pillows were rock hard and caused neck pain. The tub in one of the ensuite bathrooms made a horrible creaking noise when you stepped in it to shower, so loud that it woke other members in the house. Also, given what we paid, I would not have expected to have to bring our own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. They were kind enough to supply a sample of each, but I thought this was a little chintzy of them. Furthermore, the property description lists a Keurig as one of the amenities - I do not own a Keurig, so I went out and bought Keurig pods specifically, only to find there is a basket-type coffee pot there (with no filters, of course). The location was good, down the street from the top of a black run. Over all, although the house was very clean and nice, I can't say I would recommend it for the price we paid .

Close to the Adventure Center

It had comfortable furniture and beds. The art work made for some great conversation. Our trek to Deep Creek Lake took 13 minutes. It was close to the slopes. The shopping felt safe most places. High Mountain Sports had a note with the proper mask usage and a greeter at the door that asked you to use sanitizer. Their expert advice and selection of clothes, shoes and equipment made me giddy as I have not been shopping for months. Kudos to High Mountain Sports!

Great Girls Weekend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos do not do this property justice. When we first walked I was actually surprised how big the house was. It is a duplex but no one was staying next door. The 2 masters were huge and there was more than enough room for at least 10 people. The house had everything we needed as far as kitchen and bathroom items. The doors were a little confusing because I am used to just having a keypad at a rental. We had a great time. The property was clean when we arrived, we could find everything we needed easily and check in was painless. I would definitely return to this house next year!
