We had a great time. Estate was quiet and well kept - swimming pool was large enough not to feel crowded even on 4th July! Linen and towels were plentiful and clean. Lots to do in the area and beautiful beaches. Only downside was that crossing a very busy road meant that although it could have been a short walk to the beach it was safer to drive and find somewhere to park.

Melissa was very helpful and prompt in answering my questions. I loved the area and hope to return someday, but we had some problems going swimming in the pool that was on the property. The older lady at the pool checking swimming tags was very rude, and I got the impression she didn't like the fact that we were leasing the condo for the weekend. I don't think she likes VRBO guests at all, because she made us feel very unwelcome. Other than that the pictures don't really do the condo justice because it was very nice and a great location.

Quaint and Quiet

My family of 6 (kids: 14, 12, 8, and 5) and my parents decided to vacation together at the end of June. We were very worried all the "good" places would be taken or prices would be astronomical, so when we found this rental in Kitty Hawk we had no idea how much we would enjoy it! Super clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great air conditioning, 2 large bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and the beds--we did not want to leave! Kitchen seated all of us, and the living room had plenty of space for all adults... and the pool access was very impressive. We needed extra pillows and quilts-well, check. We needed beach towels, umbrella, and toys-check. We needed a hairdryer- check. I could go on! You will not be disappointed if you stay here; especially, if you and yours just want rest and leisure. Our host, Melissa was accessible, professional, and friendly and made our stay that much more comfortable. 10/10
