About this property

Starlight Valley - where the Earth reaches up to kiss the sky.

Nestled in a valley overlooking the blue Kaimai Ranges that stretch across the horizon. You've got it all here.

During the daytime you can see Mt Te Aroha (mountain of love) and Wairere Waterfall (highest waterfall in the North Island). At night, the heavens light up only for you.

Breathe in the fresh air and soak in the delights of Starlight Valley, with a view from every window. Daydream or stargaze, the choice is yours.
The space
Look no further - it's right here. The perfect spot for two for a romantic getaway. Shut the world out for a minute while you soak in the views and the romantic sunsets. Watch the Kaimai ranges turn pink as the sun goes down and then the stars put on a twinkling show for you - lighting up the whole sky.

Or are you after some fun and adventure with friends or family? There's so much to do in the area and most of it is for free. Hiking, biking, swimming and exploring. Check out the guide book.

Or are you in need of some rest and rejuvenation? Time to switch off and shut down for a minute. Rest your mind and recharge your soul. We promise you won't be disturbed here. Let your mind wander while you listen to the chorus of frogs at dusk and dawn or horses playing in the paddocks next door. Or escape for a few hours with a Sky movie, TV series, magazine or a book you've picked from the small library.

Beautifully appointed - Starlight Valley has everything you need. With warm, country vibes you'll find a large kitchen area / dining / lounge. Great for shared meals round the kitchen table with family or friends (no children or infants - see below).

The bedroom is large with two Queen Size beds. Lay back and soak in the stunning views from the comfort of your bed as you gaze out into the horizon.

The luxuries of home include, 55inch smart TV with Sky TV (sports & movies), air conditioning, dish washer, washing machine & dryer combo, WIFI. The modern bathroom with freestanding shower has gas water which means great pressure and constant heat.

The kitchen has all you need, except for a standing oven with elements. Instead there is a benchtop oven on the counter which is perfect for grilling, roasting or baking. The benchtop vegetable steamer means you won't lose the flavour of your freshly picked vegetables from our organic vegetable garden. Plus don't forget the outdoor BBQ for those who love to grill.

The two Queen size beds are hand picked for comfort. Seasonal mattress toppers add that extra plush feel. Organic cotton sheets & beautiful duvet covers will have you sleeping in for hours. And the special touch of soft fluffy towels mean you will never want to leave.

Our shared organic vegetable garden has fresh in season produce to enjoy during your stay.

If you like to live life on FB or the Gram, come prepared to take lots of photos to blow up your social media. Your friends and followers will be green with envy!

The property is large, private and very secure. Your access is via keypad gate entry and exit.

Gorgeous bit of paradise

Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. Would defiantly love to stay again.

Cozy and Comfortable

We arrived at this cute home after 24 hours of travel. We were so exhausted and were going to go out to dinner but had zero energy. We realized the owner had left us some staple groceries including a loaf of bread, and jelly. I had packed a tub of peanut butter and some chips in my luggage so we had the best PBJs and relaxed! Bonus there was even a bottle of wine in the fridge :) The view around the back was spectacular.
