Great location--couldn't get over whistling sink!

The location was great and it was really nice to have a parking spot so close. We wouldn't go back because every time we flushed the toilet or used the sink in the bathroom, the kitchen sink would leak or whistle. It made it difficult for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. Everything else was really lovely and the arcade games were super fun!

Very Good Stay

Overall, we had a very good stay in the apartment. Pros: There were many food options just steps out the door. Coffee shop below the flat is excellent. For the young and young at heart, the neighborhood has a thriving night life. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities you need. Washer and dryer are new and work great. Beds are large and the couch turns into a good size, if slightly stiff, bed. The arcade machine had a seemingly endless array of games. My son and nephew were endlessly entertained. Parking is right around the corner from the flat. Spaces are a little tight but easy to get in and out. Bathroom is spacious and shower works great, though it could use a shelf to put the shampoo or soap on. Communication with host was easy and instructions were very clear. No problems getting into apartment when we got there. Cons: The neighborhood is a little rough. There are a wide variety of troubled people roaming up and down the street all day. Many homeless people but they seemed harmless. The drug addicts were a little scarier. More than once we were walking down the street outside the apartment to see someone passing out in a doorway clearly having just shot up. We found a needle in the street right outside the door to the flat. The kitchen sink has a high pitched, very loud squeal coming from it that can sometimes be stopped by turning the tap just right, but as soon as someone flushes the toilet, it goes off again.
