Quiet, friendly, spacious, but smelly

The condo was as listed with two spacious rooms and a bedroom loft. The living room and dining space was great for our group of five. The kitchen was fine. The major issues were with the carpeted basement. There was a strong musty / mildew smell likely due to flooding in the below grade living space. The whole area is carpeted so it really captures and keeps the smell. We had two dehumidifiers running fullblast the entire time. There also was an issue with the basement shower faucet. It is very difficult to shut off, and should probably be re-installed or replaced. If these issues were corrected, I probably would only talk about how the condo was really close to a fanstastic beach. There is nature everywhere. There is an indoor pool. It's very easy to get into town. Petosky is quite close too.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is certainly workable, but a two-burner stove is unacceptable. One bathroom had MINIMAL TP on the roll and no extra roll available. Closet space is minimal, as is lighting in the lower-level double bed bedroom. Lower-level shower handle kept coming off until we found a screwdriver to repair. Top rack of dishwasher impossible to pull out completely; would think cleaning crew would have reported this. Found pile of loose sheets in 2 closets; were they clean or dirty? Beach was wonderful.
