Summary:
Welcome! This beautiful full brick duplex is located in a residential area with lots of parking. Our cozy ranch boasts a fully equipped kitchen with elegant granite countertops and an island. Off the kitchen is a spacious dining room, a great space for gatherings! Our home offers 3 comfortable bedrooms and a main bath with subway tile. Conveniently located with easy access to major highways and interstates. Family-friendly, and pets are welcome with a fee. We would love to host you!

The Space:
Guests will enter through the door labeled with an A using a digital keypad. Once you step inside, you will see a spacious living room with brilliant lighting. As you walk through on the left, its fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare food for your family and friends. We also have a pantry for your storage.

This house features three bedrooms and one full bathroom. The first bedroom has one queen size bed. The second has one full bed. The third one has a full bed and a queen bed. We also have a washer and dryer available for guest use.

Don't forget to check out our back deck - perfect for gatherings! A BBQ grill is available for use outside.

Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is located on the northwest side of Birmingham, 10 minutes from downtown, Legion Field Stadium, and Birmingham CrossPlex.

Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!

Other Things to Note:
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

We are a pet-friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Worst Experience
When we first pulled in we noticed a bunch of beer cans on the ground around the downstairs door. We realized that this is a shared unit with downstairs tenants and we would be upstairs. Upon first entering the home my husband noted that it smelled like the house had been smoked in and they were trying to cover it up with a cinnamon scent. We dropped our things off and left for the evening - we returned around 9:30pm and my 10 year old first walked in the door and immediately choked. The entire house smelled very strongly of marijuana. I noticed that the downstairs tenants were smoking marijuana inside and the smoke/smell was coming up into our unit through the air vents. I immediately messaged and called the property management company (Patriot Family Homes) and spoke with Cherry who said she would get with her manager and contact me back within 5 minutes. We were requesting a refund so we could go stay in a hotel because staying with 2 children in a house full of marijuana residue is not what we paid over $400 for. Cherry did not reach back out to me so I called again and she said they could offer us a $40 refund. This is absolutely unacceptable and I told her as such and I requested to speak to her manager. She then lied and said that her manager is not available and said they would reach out in the morning. They never did. Their was hair in 2 of the beds. One of the pillows had a crusty food/mold on it. We had to put pillows/towels over the vents to stifle the smell.
