Prompt response from Rental Agency; Quiet Island Neighborhood

My family and I just got home from a few nights at this home. We needed a last minute place to stay so we could enjoy some beach time. We normally stay oceanfront - so it was a different dynamic having to pack up the car to go to the beach, but the home had the outdoor shower and spray hose so we were able to de-sand easily and hang all of our suits and towels out to dry. Cute patio and yard, if we were there longer we would have utilized more of the outdoor space. The AC was not keeping up with the heat mid-day - and I received a phone call within minutes of texting the issue. They brought over a unit to help keep the house cool during the day - the AC kept up just fine as we approached later afternoon, once the started setting. I appreciated their promptness.

Adorable beach cottage

We had the most wonderful weekend at Sandy Bottoms cottage. The house was so cute and so clean. The owner left the most thoughtful basket of treats and beach goodies for us. We grilled out each night, and walked to the public dock to watch the sunset over the waterway, just around the corner from the house. The beach is a 10 minute walk and a straight shot to the public access. We can’t wait to book our next trip to Oak Island!

Comfortable and quiet

This place was just what we were looking for, fully stocked and they provided linens and the beds were made. The last place that we rented on Oak Island provided linens that were in bags when we arrived and others that I read online did not provide linens. The house was stocked with everything we needed and they had a welcome package. The main bed was very comfortable we did not use the other bedrooms and the street was very quiet (good for some much needed rest)
