The home was perfect for our party of 10. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the property! We were in town for Bucknell graduation and it was a short drive to campus while still getting to enjoy a peaceful, beautiful location.
We so enjoyed the house, beautiful spacious bedrooms, newly renovated. Perfect space for a good sized group of us. Wrap around porch was great for scenic views of the mountains. Very peaceful and quiet
This home was wonderful! Immaculately clean, abundantly supplied with every amenity one could think of, this will be my family's go-to when we come to the area!
Family in town for a wedding. This house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, just a perfect place to gather and hang out.

Absolute Perfection in Milton!
We rented this home for Bucknell family weekend and feel so lucky to have found it. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The owners went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Communication was excellent throughout. This is by far the nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in, and we would absolutely rent it again. We highly recommend it to any family who will appreciate and take great care of this wonderful home.

Family weekend
This was a wonderful home and we had a fabulous weekend visiting Milton, PA for a wedding. This house comes with all of the extras to make it a comfortable experience for a large family. Exceptionally clean! Couldn’t say enough good things about the furnishings and room to spare at lovely home!
Our family had a great time at this property. There was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable. The owners really have an eye for detail.

A great stay
We enjoyed our second time staying at this rental. The kids were excited to see the wild turkeys each morning. A doe gave birth to a fawn in the front yard while we were there! Everyone enjoyed the pickle ball and ping pong. The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to help with meals. The beds were all comfortable.
This house is very beautiful, so much care and thought was put into every aspect. It is fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay. So comfortable, so clean, so perfect!
We've stayed at many VRBO's and other rental properties, with my brother and his Family. We all commented that the photos didn't capture the true essence of this beautiful mountaintop retreat. Every detail was perfect! The floor plan was ideal, and the amenities all exceeded our expectations. This is a great location to 'chillax' and play games and enjoy nature!
My sisters and I rented this property as a surprise Mother/Daughter trip for our 82 year old Mom. We loved the rustic farmhouse aesthetics of this house! From the comfy beds, to the cheerful kitchen, and sitting on the deck listening to nature sounds all around us, it was the perfect escape to experience with my mom and sisters. I will definitely be reserving this house in the near future! A great place to stay, disconnect from stresses and reconnect with nature and loved ones!
Everything was perfect except for the heavy equipment cutting trees every day. We couldn’t use the outside. I assume that was a temporary thing but just happened the week we were on vacation.
The Mountain Meadow Lodge was a wonderful experience! We chose this location for our daughter’s graduation from Susquehanna University. Wow! As my wife said, “they thought of everything.” It is beautifully updated, spacious, and well furnished. The wrap around porch was recently upgraded and a great place for morning coffee with the family. Although we don’t have an electric car, there was a charging station! Fact, it’s in the middle of open farm land, and it is a wonderful oasis. Even though our daughter graduated, we would come back without question. Any one with children in college in the area (Susquehanna, Bucknell, Bloomsburg, PSU), this is a wonderful anchor point for a family visit or a retreat.
I was tempted to not leave a review here because my daughter is beginning her freshman year at Bucknell and I plan on staying here whenever I am in the area and I don’t want any competition. But the people that own this house are amazing and they have put so much love into this home that I needed leave a terrific review. Me and my family are admittedly very fussy when it comes to hotels (let alone rental houses) so it spoke volumes to me when we all couldn’t stop raving about how nice this place was. Just looking through VRBO it stood out as unique for the area and it was even better in person. Do yourself a favor and stay here….just not when I am in town please.
We were in the Milton area for a family reunion. When I tell you this property didn’t disappoint, I mean that!! We have a lot of tickets left from Knoebels Amusement park and will be back!! My sister in law said the only thing that would elevate this property is a pool or hot tub! We loved it here!!
The only thing that went wrong was that GPS stopped us in the middle of hill on Mountain Road. We did turn down the wrong driveway but quickly got back on track.

Well maintained, exceptionally clean, family friendly home away from home
This was our 3rd year in this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed every aspect of the property including the pickleball court, fire pit, basement, and kitchen. Everything was well supplied (pickleball paddles/balls, fire pit wood/lighters), the wrap around porch was delightful even on colder days, the kitchen was well supplied which made cooking in-house easy, beds were comfortable and our grandchildren enjoyed the basement and games. We will definitely be back again!
