Beautiful beach house in Duck close to sand & sound

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed our week at Shorehaven Too the week of July 4th. The house is well equipped, well decorated and had plenty of space for all 8 of us adults. We did have a little trouble with the mid level A/C unit but the property management company assisted us with individual air conditioning units to help cool things down. Otherwise, the house is relatively good shape with only some minor needed updates/repairs. Would recommend for a family looking for a week of relaxation in a home that is close to the beach, fishing at the sound, and all that the center of Duck has to offer (approximately 1 mile away). This house was close to everything!

Disappointing upkeep on house

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very disappointed with the condition of the house. I paid a good price for a weekly rental that should’ve been in excellent condition. Upon arrival, I discovered three broken toilet seats, two non-functioning window blinds, dishwasher, full of dishes, recycling and trash bins, filled to the top, non-functioning, icemaker, multiple cobwebs on the front railings.The interior was beautiful, and well-maintained. Given the elements of the beach really could’ve used a good power wash on the exterior. I had three realtor technicians come out and make repairs, but they should’ve been taken care of upon a check out review by the management company.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice week in Duck and the house was ideal for our group of 10. The kitchen was well-equipped and the elevator was very handy for the less mobile members of our party + useful for getting bags to the top floor. The location was ideal, only 5 mins walk from the beach and a short drive to the shops at Duck. The grounds could have been better maintained; the lawn was non existent. A pool would make this property a 10/10 but we otherwise loved it.
