Beautiful views from this Ocean Dunes condo

As of March 18, 2026, we were notified by the HOA that they are replacing of all sliders and windows in the Indoor Pool area of the Rec Center at Ocean Dunes. This is a two-phase project with the first phase starting Monday March 23 to Friday March 27. The second, larger phase will start on April 14 and end April 24.

During these two phases, the Indoor pool area will be closed to all owners and guests. (The gym and change rooms/saunas will be accessible during that time, with the exception of any period of time when the electricians will be working in the men's room where the hot tub equipment is housed).

“Waves "N At” is a coastal playground located in the Ocean Dunes condo complex. This unassuming end unit oceanfront condo boasts beautiful ocean views from the living room, primary bedroom and oversized deck. The unit is ideally located, with beach access directly in front of the building and the Recreation Center located just across the street. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo does require stairs to access the unit.

As you enter the property, the renovated kitchen greets you and the open concept dining and living areas pull you outside the sliders to experience the might Atlantic Ocean where you can truly experience the "Waves "N At". The kitchen has modern black appliances and all of the essential items needed to prepare a meal. Tucked into a nook in the kitchen, you will find the washer and dryer.

The primary bedroom is fitted with a King bed, a smart TV, and full ocean views through the sliders leading to the deck. An on suite bathroom is attached with a single vanity and shower/ tub combo. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, smart TV, and access to the hall bathroom. The hall bathroom has a single vanity and shower/ tub combo. Between the two bedrooms is a storage closet and wet bar. A sleeper sofa in the living area completes the bedding accommodations.

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and cornhole. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers.

This location provides the best of both worlds with the beauty and serenity of Kure Beach and the Fort Fisher area which provides plenty of hiking and biking trails plus you’ll also have easy access to plenty of family fun activities such as the NC Aquarium and the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach with fireworks on Thursday nights. You have great options for dining out at some of our outstanding restaurants in both Kure Beach and Carolina Beach and, of course, enjoy the famous Britt's Doughnuts anytime. There is also a local farmers market at the Carolina Beach lake each Saturday morning, and outdoor movies on Sunday evenings. You'll never be bored on Pleasure Island.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
