Beautiful family-friendly cottage that literally hangs over the water! The cottage sits over a boat house and feels as though you are floating on the lake. Completely private lake frontage with a sandy beach that is perfect for kids with a little island and woods to explore. Two kayaks and a row boat and many board games to play after lakeside fun. There is a dock for jumping off into the lake and a large upper deck to have barbecues and enjoy looking out over the lake for sunsets, star-gazing and warm memories. Situated just 5 minutes from Minden on beautiful Gull Lake with west facing views. Rent a motorboat and boat up Gull River into Minden which is ten minutes away for drinks and dinner where you will find many restaurants, bars, cafes and more. Family friendly and pet friendly cottage. Wake up to the sound of loons and see the herons and fireflies over the lake.

Great cottage with amazing views!!

We had a great time at this cottage! Very spacious and comfortable. The views are amazing…it really does feel like you’re right on the water! Nice sandy beach and a very private setting. The kayaking was very nice on Gull lake. We did golf, go-karting, and mini-putt nearby. Perfect sunset views from the deck and from the family room. That was our favourite room for indoor time…views even better than the photos. Absolutely recommend this cottage!

Spacious cottage, well appointed and comfortable set in a genuinely charming environment. We would definitely consider staying again or recommending it to a friend.

We are from Canada / UK and we adore the part of the world in all the seasons - summer, fall, winter and spring.

Why they chose this property

Boat into Minden in ten minutes! Only 1.5hrs from the GTA and 2 hours from downtown Toronto and lots to do in the area such as golf, skiing, mini-putt, snowmobiles, ice-fishing, go-karting and more.

What makes this property unique

The Cottage is a beautiful traditional wooden cottage that has been well kept over the years. It has a rustic charm but comes with all modern conveniences including a fully equipped kitchen (including Nespresso machine, slow cooker, blender etc), washer and dryer, 2 kayaks to explore the lake (with adult and kid life jackets), sandy beach with direct entry to lake that is ideal for small children plus a deeper water dock for bigger kids and adults.
