About this property

Newly built in the Spring of 2023, Kwalikum Kottage is what we call our newly built Guest House. Kwalikum Kottage has its own private door entrance and is fully furnished and heated. There is ample free parking for two vehicles right beside the guest house. There is also a 14/50 charging outlet for your electric vehicle or RV. Just bring your food and you are good to go! Kwalikum Kottage is a two bedroom almost 900 square foot private guest house built beside the owner's house, on a park-like, well-treed half acre yard. It's your own private house, fully furnished with; large fully equipped kitchen with; fridge, stove/oven, microwave, automatic dishwasher, 50" flat screen TV with streaming services, free Wi-Fi Internet, wood-burning fireplace, pull-out couch and two comfortable chairs, dining table that seats six, washer & dryer, bathroom with sink/vanity, toilet and shower/tub combo, and two private bedrooms each with large closets and queen-sized beds. Private patio with views of a park like yard with water features and a Koi fish pond.

Your hosts Gary, Samantha and their daughter Charlie are originally from Manitoba but have called Qualicum Beach home for the past eight years. We love hiking, fishing, camping as well as travelling ourselves. We love meeting new people from all over the world and hope you might come stay with us and get a taste of 'Island Life'!

Why they chose this property

We are located on the edge of the town of Qualicum Beach. But we are a two minute drive to the main beach area and a five minute drive to downtown Qualicum Beach where you'll find; pharmacy, grocery store, bakery, hardware store, restaurants and shops. We are also a two minute drive to the The Shady Rest Restaurant, Pub & Liquor Store.

What makes this property unique

We have built this new Guest Cottage right beside our own home, but it has its own private entrance, its own private view of our well-treed and park-like backyard and fish pond.
