The peacefulness here is unrivalled - world class views over the beach and visual connections with stunning natural surrounds provide an unforgettable lifestyle experience. Take daily walks to the Barwon Heads Bridge and back, surf out the front, or just enjoy a quiet stroll to The Dunes (450m) for a morning coffee or a meal. No matter what the season, there’s always something to watch - from the waves rolling in and the ships passing by, to the kite surfers and summertime lightning storms over the ocean. Views really don’t get much better.

Picture yourself holidaying with your family only paces away from the ocean’s shores and a short stroll to shopping, cafes, and restaurants. The large-scale layout serves as an incredible seaside holiday house for memorable trips down the coast. Nestled atop the sand dunes, the original ocean side property is set across three levels with expansive windows to capture the outlook. Five large bedrooms, three bathrooms, and multiple living and recreation areas are all generously proportioned to cater to up to two families.

Three spacious living areas, including the sublime sunroom, have all been designed to maximise the view so you can relax and watch the waves roll in. Central heating and reverse cycle air-conditioning is ideal in all-seasons, bringing families together in the living room for movie nights (Smart TV-Netflix connectivity), reading or board games.

Immerse yourself in a piece of local history. Whilst the house has been renovated, the east to north wing is an old Barwon Heads boathouse that was transported to this Ocean Grove site in 1936. The timber-lined cove ceiling and period features like stained glass skylights have been preserved, and many historical photos are displayed on the gallery walls.

Extensive outdoor areas include an east-facing deck with sunken hot tub and a north-facing deck - ideal for all-day sunshine. The south-facing deck is the ideal spot for carefree weekends spent entertaining and relaxing, whilst gazing at the ocean.

The contemporary kitchen will appeal to home cooks and entertainers, with a 4m stone island bench, dishwasher and Smeg 900mm oven among the sophisticated inclusions. The breakfast eatery leads out to the north deck or enjoy brunch in the conservatory room, while the dining room offers the best views in town whilst listening to the sound of the waves.

Set up to sleep 10 guests (maximum 6 adults ), all beds are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels, making your stay as comfortable as possible. Please BYO beach towels.

Cleverly zoned for privacy and sanctuary, the 5-bedroom floor plan includes two top floor Queen bedrooms, both with new Langham hotel beds, panoramic outlooks of the Barwon Heads Bluff and a shared bathroom. Two bathrooms service the central level, including a family bathroom with clawfoot bath and direct access to the east deck/sunken spa. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed and ensuite, while the two bedrooms in the children’s wing have Double base/Single top bunk beds (for kids only).

Parking is available in the gated driveway; gates can be closed for added security and privacy.

Set on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, Ocean Grove is renowned for its beaches, river, golf, dining and access to wineries across the Peninsula. This extraordinary position is so close to the ocean, with beach access and walking trails just metres beyond the house, and only 500m walk to café’s and boutiques on The Terrace shopping strip.

Getting Around:

Large solid house with a view
Property is very comfortable in a quiet cul de sac with spectacular views of the surf beach which helped create a feeling of light and space and being at the beach. It is well appointed and could easily accommodate a large family. We enjoyed it very much.

The house and location are very good for family groups and getsways to the seaside. Walking distance to anything you could wish for including shops, restaurants, the ocean etc The house is nicely decorated and looked after. The kitchen could do with some more cutlery, glasses and cups but as there’s a dishwasher it can be managed, just an idea. The not so great part was daily garbo collection that woke everyone up between 6 and 7am. And we were VERY unlucky with our utterly thoughtless nextdoor neighbours who had their dogs outside 24/7 and barked the entire week, which was very annoying, rude and made sleeping difficult for all on that side of the house, even after a polite request…. It may be worth management having a word…… they have a full frontal balcony - with 2 german sheppards.
