Peaceful Getaway

This property is not only beautiful, but also close to everything around the area. It is great for a weekend getaway or a week long stay. We are already looking at dates to return! Would definitely recommend!!!

This is our 2nd stay at the Mill Spring Cabin and just as the first one, it did not disappoint. The accommodations are just as they appear in the pictures. It is a very clean cabin, with a quiet setting - to enjoy the natural space surrounding the cabin. Cabin is well stocked - there was nothing we did not need that was not there (kitchen utensils & appliances).The cabin is conveniently located to trails, and shopping. Highly recommend the cabin to anyone who will be visiting the Lake Lure area looking for a hidden gem.

This cabin was exactly as described! It was clean, quiet, conveniently located, and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything and then some. The upper deck is next-level (pun not intended). It's such a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the mountains. We will definitely stay at this cabin again!

Wonderful little cabin! My family of 5 stayed for a few nights and it was just what we needed. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy when the kids went to bed and the view during the day was breath taking! Unit was clean and perfectly stocked with essentials. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Lake lure is a must with young kids ! Definitely planning a trip back.

We loved our stay. We have never seen a better equipped home away from home. Every little detail was thought out, available and well appreciated.From snacks, coffee and tea to eyeglass cloth to clean lenses. We would give it 10 stars if available.

Quiet Perfect Retreat!

Our family of 4 went to get a quiet nature filled trip for the weekend. We loved the idea of this place for the loft for the kids and that we got to bring the dog. Once we got there it was so much more. They thought of everything! The dog was able to roam on the porch freely, kids enjoyed the loft, got to explore in the woods. My husband and i enjoyed some quiet down time also! We definitely will be coming back!

Absolutely a hidden gem!

Our stay was impromptu. We were visiting family in the area and found this by accident. Richard and Lori were fabulous hosts before, during and after our stay. This cabin is beautiful, well thought out and well maintained inside and out. Even the plants surrounding the cabin all have tags of what they are. We normally use a timeshare and bring a lot of our own items. More was provided here than we are used to. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee, a keurig, dishwasher, all the soaps, linens, and the normal dishes. They had multiple board games, 2 fire TVs, and even provided an extra pet leash, doggie bags for pickup, and the hot tub was great with an awesome view! The screened in patio was very nice and convenient too. Great for eating or playing games. We wanted to stay an extra day and customer service was very quick to respond and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. If there was any drawback or something that we had an issue with was the heating and ac system. It took a couple days to get the modes and temps right. There is a unit in the living room and another unit in the back bedroom. It was still a great stay and vacation! Highly recommended!
