We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO! We loved that it was only 15 minutes from Carmel and Monterey. The house was beautiful, very comfortable, and truly had everything you could possibly need. It was by far the most well-stocked home we’ve stayed in. There were tons of thoughtful extras like TVs, universal chargers, and alarm clocks in every room. The rain shower heads were a nice touch, and having two washers and two dryers was super convenient. Traveling with a little one was easy thanks to the high chair and pack-n-play, and the fenced yard was perfect for both our kids and our dogs. There were games, balls, and even a Pac-Man machine which was a hit! The home is clearly set up with guests in mind and makes it easy to relax and enjoy your stay. The host was great and everything was smooth from start to finish. They even left us homemade cookie dough which was a nice treat! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Carmel/Monterey area!

I actually booked this for my husband, and his buddies, for their annual guys golf trip. My husband called me at check out to ensure I called the Management Team to tell them how much they enjoyed their stay. The location is perfect and the house was spotless. My husband said if you got there and had forgotten something, they pretty much thought of anything and everything that you would need. There were special touches throughout the home that made it an excellence stay. We will definitely be back!

Loved the location. Definitely quiet. House had all the amenities you could want or need. Very nice floor plan. The patio/deck was like having a whole extra room. We would stay here again!!! Thank you to a very attentive host who even had homemade cookies for us to bake!

Wonderful

This was a wonderful home to stay in! We are a family of 8 and were very comfortable here. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house, games for the little ones and older ones, cookie dough in the freezer, ample amounts of shampoo and conditioner so we didnt have to bring any. It is also very close to the Monterey and Carmel tourist attractions. Highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

Booking, check in and stay were excellent. John was a welcoming host and communication was easy. The house was spotless, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, the bedrooms had comfy beds and bedding. We didn’t use the backyard or patio but it was lovely. The location was a quiet neighborhood and close to Point Lobos, Cannery Row, and Carmel. We’d return in a heartbeat to this perfect rental and for the thoughtful frozen homemade cookie dough that was ready to bake after a long day of hiking.

All the comforts of home!

Fantastic place—we felt so at-home here! The property was absolutely immaculate, and had all those thoughtful touches that really made us feel at home and made our stay feel effortless. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want, including spices, flour, etc. (But still had plenty of room for our things!) Lots of thoughtful extras like enough suitcase holders, extra blankets, easily accessible outlets near the bed, lamps not just overhead lighting, games for the kids, a few complimentary snacks. It feels like the owners probably stay here sometimes because the setup is for real people. A perfect stay for us, and we would definitely choose this place again!

Our family of four had a fantastic stay! This Del Rey Oaks gem is perfect for visitors, with thoughtful touches that made our trip special. The house was stocked with toiletries, coffee, and board games like Connect 4, which our kids loved. The Pac-Man machine sparked fun family competitions, and the host’s snack basket and bake-your-own cookie dough were delightful treats.Roasting marshmallows in the backyard created cozy memories. When our kids spilled smoothies in the car, the washer/dryer saved the day. We noticed a cute night light above the doggy door, a thoughtful pet-friendly touch, even though we didn’t bring a pet. The clean, cozy home had a warm coastal vibe, and Del Rey Oaks’ quiet location was minutes from Monterey’s beaches, Cannery Row, and the Aquarium.The host was exceptional, ensuring every detail was perfect. Lovely Del Rey Oaks home

What a gorgeous house. Super comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, loads of entertainment and so clean. The mattress was so comfortable that I asked the property manager for the brand so I could look into buying one for our house. We had two families (four kids 13-17) sharing the house. Everyone was comfortable and happy. It took about 15 minutes to drive to Cannery Row, so the location is great. I'm honestly thrilled to have found this listing. I'd be happy to rent it again and I won't hesitate to let other people know about it. In fact, I've already passed the listing to another friend who is thinking about a trek to Monterey with the family. Beautiful home, great location, stellar communication with the property manager. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful and new

We had an amazing 2 night stay at this home in Del Rey Oaks. It is completely remodeled, top to bottom, with beautiful finishes. The kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen I have ever been in! Including plates/cups for toddlers and infants—very thoughtful! The owners also left homemade cookie dough in the freezer…and the cookies were delicious! The floor plan of the home consists of the living room and kitchen in the middle. The office with a sliding door is immediately off the living room (and not a great option for kids or others with early bedtimes). One side of the home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the hallway. The other side is the larger primary bedroom with a bathroom also in the hallway (not en suite). It was very convenient for the primary bathroom to not be en suite so there was more flexibility for everyone to get ready in the mornings. Both bathrooms were large and very nice! Overall, I can guarantee that this will be the nicest vacation home that you’ll ever stay in! We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and beautifully appointed house

My wife and I took our mothers to Monterey to meet for the first time, and this was the absolute perfect house for us to do that. The place is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood with ample parking, just a 10 min drive from the Aquarium and many other local attractions. One of the most standout inclusions in the house is a really well appointed kitchen. We love to cook, and cooked at the house most nights. Not only is the kitchen equipped with really good quality equipment (including an electric kettle, air fryer and an electric whisk), but the pantry is stocked with flour, salt, sugar, etc., all clearly labeled and in clean tupperware containers. Beyond that, the rest of the house is wonderful. All the bedrooms are spacious, clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The shared spaces are also great, including a sofa complete with reclining seats in the sitting room. We found ourselves wanting for very little; the house is fully equipped with hairdryers, q-tips, washing machine, steam iron, and so forth. There was even a bowl of oranges on the counter and cookie dough in the freezer waiting for us. We had little need to contact the owners of the property, but when we did they were responsive and friendly. Next time we come to Monterey we will genuinely be contacting them to stay at their beautiful property once more.
