Ryan was very attentive. Came quickly 1st morning to unclog toilet and help with broken coffee pots. Kitchen utensils/pots inadequately stocked with basics—had to use foil for a pot. Lid Hard to find something to cook with. Only 1 towel per person and some smelled moldy. Lack of seating only a 2 person loveseat for 4-6 people. Poorly stocked with toilet paper towels and trash bags dishwashing soap. At least the heat and water were hot and beds were ok.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect! Loved the decor! Awesome views! It made my day when we arrived and I could see Mule Ears in the distance, one of my favorite landmarks in Big Bend.

The house is physically breaking in half. There is a crack in the floor from end to end of the house. The house settled during the night to where the back door would no longer latch closed. Doors wouldn't lock or even close, cabinet doors wouldn't open, tiles were loose, and large cracks are in the kitchen/living area, etc. The location was good for our activities, but the house was not the nicest.

This cute house has all you need! Nice place - we really enjoyed our meals outside on the patio; sunrises and sunsets. Even saw some bighorn sheep in the fields across the road one evening!

Cute house , very comfortable place to stay right next to Big Bend National Park. Clean bathrooms and great hot showers for cleaning up after a dusty day in the park. Lots of spices and coffee supplies, but pots and pans need a little refresh. We had a great time here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Big Bend!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Terlingua! The location is perfect—just a 10-minute drive to the Big Bend National Park entrance. The house was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor patio with its stunning mountain views was the highlight of our evenings. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Terlingua is a small desert community. The property was adjacent to (and shared a drive way with) a small RV park, and it's just off the road; so kind of spartan. A patio pointed away from the RV park, which provided an okay desert view. This had a gas grill, but we didn't use this, so no comment on it. The patio had skattered gravel of various sizes and the furniture was okay but not in great shape. So, meh.The interior was as shown (though darker). Beds were good, and both bedrooms had their own bathroom; but one of these did not have a door, so the bathroom was open to the bedroom. The bathrooms had good space and good counter areas, and the showers were good.So, the "bones" of the place were good, but small things degraded the visitor experience. Canister lighting in the bedroom had a light shining right down on the head of the bed, which made lying on the bed unpleasant if the lights were on. There were two side tables by the bed in my room, but only had a lamp. IMO the light over the bed should be disabled, and a second side table light added, to make the bedroom a lot cozier.The big annoyance was the outfitting of the kitchen. Pots, pans and cooking utensils were a jumble of worn items. Some bowls were chipped. Flatwear was stamped steel, with uncomfortable handles. There were cloths but nothing to scrub pans with.A kitchen cabinet door and a bedroom closet door were loose on their hinges.For 400 per night, we expected far more attention to detail.

Overall, the place was really awesome. It had everything we needed + it was close to all the attractions in Terlingua and one of the park entrances. The only semi-negative is that neighbors are close by. They aren’t loud or anything but I thought the property would be a little more secluded.

Very Nice 3/2 convenient to both National and State parks. Nearby Terlingua eateries. Complete accessories including gas and charcoal grills. And, a propane griddle. All in good working order. Clean as a whistle and easy to access. Sunrise and sunset a treat.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cut short a day but only because of fall on a trail at Big Bend. I emailed Ryan and let him know what happened and he and a nurse and a paramedic were there in no time to check out my injuries. So very helpful and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this house.

Everything was as listed, except the closeness of the nearest structure, a driveway away, and was told that the rv park was at least 100 feet away. Other than that, we had a wonderful time in Big Bend an Terlingua ghost town.

The home was clean and very well-stocked, and in a great location for easy access to restaurants. The only potential negative is that if you’re looking for total desolation, the property has several RVers right around the house. However, we were left alone and it wasn’t an issue. I’m not certain if we were supposed to have access to the surrounding area (listing said 30 acres), but we really enjoyed exploring the landscape around the house. The porch was wonderful and the view of the stars and Milky Way were truly magical.

Look elsewhere

This property is not as listed. Evolve property management states they hold up their properties on the standards of safety but this property doesn’t lock. There is an RV park within a rocks throw behind you that they never mention. This property is also not clean. Hopefully after our complaints they will correct their problems.
