Welcome to Villa Amelita, City ID#3717. Set at the base of the mountains in the beautiful Little Tuscany neighborhood, Villa Amelita is your private sanctuary, minutes from downtown Palm springs. The views are truly majestic. Practice your golf game on our brand new professionally designed putting green! Walking distance to Palm Canyon's uptown design district, this unique property is set on well over half an acre and boosts over 3600 square feet of living space. The villa has 5 spacious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, including the detached casita. The bedrooms flow out to the gorgeous exterior via the French doors which open onto private patios. The property has been extensively renovated and is decorated with a Palm Springs metro modern vibe! The open plan kitchen features an enormous center island made of quartz. High end stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances and a huge farmhouse sink will delight the most discerning chef. The dining and living area flow seamlessly from the kitchen and are accentuated by 2 fireplaces framed with stacked brick. Vaulted ceilings and French doors add to the already spacious living areas. Each bedroom in the main house has direct patio access via French doors and its own private bathroom. You will not want to leave Villa Amelita!!

All guests are subject to City ordinance governing vacation rentals. No parties are permitted. 10 guest maximum plus 2 children under 12 years. No music is permitted outdoors at any time nor can it be heard from the property line.

Private retreat

This is a beautiful home and property, very quiet and private and located close to downtown. Clare was great to work with and super responsive. I have stayed in a few homes in PS and this is by far my favorite. We will be back!

Perfect family getaway

The property was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and putting green. The chaise lounges, hammock chairs, furniture, and beds were all super comfortable. There were plenty of communal areas and a huge kitchen for family gatherings and meals. Noise didn’t carry easily throughout the house or between rooms so folks slept in or arose early as they pleased. Everyone had a wonderful and relaxing time. We would love to stay in this home again!

What an amazing vacation home! Perfect for our group of ten. Plenty of space, the pool and deck are fabulous! Even better/bigger in person than in the pictures! I would Highly Recommend staying here!

We were a party of 8 including my adult children and spouses, plus our 9 month old grandson. This home provided all the room we needed. The bedrooms are all spacious, and the beds are so very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with absolutely everything you need; in fact this kitchen was the most well stocked of any VRBO home we've rented. The backyard is amazing with a pool, putting green, fire pit, BBQ area, and corn hole area. No lack of entertainment there. The landscaping is beautiful. The view of the mountains adds to the beauty. The neighborhood is quiet. It was so easy to get in to the property when we arrived, and easy to lock up when we left. The owner, Clare, responded immediately to any questions we had, and her local associate, Regenia, was wonderful too. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and we had the best time ever in this beautiful home. We were sad to leave.

Amazing girls weekend

Our group of college friends had the absolute best time celebrating our 50th birthdays at this property. Clare provided great communication and ideas for our trip. The layout of the house was perfect with tons of beautiful outdoor space. The location was perfect for accessing everything Palm Springs has to offer. We highly recommend it, and we will be back!

Great Location! Central to everything Palm Springs. Clare was on top of everything and communication was great. Excellent property. All bedrooms have their own bath and access to the back yard. Property is really nice and well appointed. I would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect Getaway

Can't say enough good things about this property and the owner, Clare. From the beginning, Clare was super responsive and attentive to our inquiries and made the booking, arrival and departure processes seamless. The house was perfect for the group of us - each had our own room/bath and plenty of room to find a spot to read a book by yourself or enjoy all of the amazing amenities that the property had to offer together. Highly recommend this property and would visit it again!

Incredible Home in Palm Springs

Clare's home was impeccable! Our stay was more than amazing and Clare was an excellent host. When we arrived her home really blew us away. It was much larger than we thought and everyone in our group felt very comfortable. The outdoor area is excellent with an amazing pool/spa and fire pit. It was also very close to restaurants and bars (we often walked there and home) and a short 5 min Uber from shopping downtown. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to relax and enjoy Palm Springs.

10 friends for over 35 years had a great time at Villa Amelita! The house is spectacular - 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, fully equipped for cooking meals, spacious outdoor areas with fabulous pool and hot tub and in a very central yet quiet location. We had planned to explore the sights of Palm Springs but mostly stayed at the house and enjoyed the pool and beautiful weather. Clare was very accommodating and so responsive. Thank you for everything. We will be back in 2020.

Lovely Home in Little Tuscany

We are 3 couples who travel to Palm Springs every year. Via Amelita is a beautiful property that we will return to in 2025. It boasts 4 bedrooms with en-suite baths, a well appointed chef’s kitchen, a separate casita that we used as our “office” and an expansive outdoor pool and spa area. Clare, the owner is by far the most responsive host that we have ever encountered during all of our years using VRBO. We had a slight issue heating the spa and she took care of it immediately. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, but very close to stores, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend for a vacation in the desert.

One of the best VRBO experiences ever

VRBO is my go to way to travel - and this house blew our socks off. It was breathtaking, comfortable and beyond relaxing. Just what we were looking for. We took Lyfts everywhere, but honestly, there was a LOT within walking distance. Highly recommend. Only comment - they "spray down" everything outside to clean it, resulting in all the pool furniture pillows being drenched the entire 3 days we were there - never dried out, so you always ended up with a wet butt. Maybe go lighter on that :)

we checked in via the Owner, Clare, who was great and very quick to respond to any questions. another person was supposed to meet us at the house but never showed, nor did we ever meet her. not sure what was going on there. the hot water in the casita was not up to par. however everything else about this house was great. it was not as clean as we thought it should have been when we checked in...but overall, I give it an A. owner gets an A+

Even better than expected!

We were 8 adults gathering for a mini family reunion. This home was perfect for "separate but together!" Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a plus. It was so spacious we could have different activities going on at once. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of room for many hands helping out. Relaxing in the beautiful back yard with pool, spa, putting green, and corn hole made it great to be together without going out. We ate all meals on the patio, although there was a large table inside too. The neighborhood is very quiet, and nice for long walks. A good location made venturing out so convenient when we wanted to explore. The owner was very accommodating, and responded to any questions or concerns promptly. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect Stay in the Perfect Home

This house provides everything you'd want for a Palm Springs stay -- it's beautiful, spacious, private, and so comfortable. We never wanted to leave during the days, and thanks to the incredible outdoor space, you don't have to -- there is so much to do on the property. I've gone to Palm Springs every year for the past decade and never had as enjoyable of a stay as I did here. Clare, the property owner, was very attentive, responsive, and kind. For weeks leading up to our check-in, she was sure to answer all of my questions, provide necessary information, and share her contact info for any immediate needs. Regenia, the property manager, was equally as lovely -- showing up upon our arrival for a quick and seamless check-in. This house somehow exceeded any and all expectations, which was a tall order for me and my 10 friends who were visiting from the east coast. Will absolutely be rebooking this property next year.

Amazing location-All of our needs met!

This was a family (6 sisters/cousins) get together, we travel to a different location each year. We loved the house, kitchen and all of the bedrooms. The pool and hot tub and patio were amazing. Location was great also Regina the house manager was top notch-so attentive to every request.

Fabulous back yard!

The back yard is fantastic! The view of the mountains, the pool, hot tub, putting green, natural gas fire pit, corn hole, outside dinning in the shade with overhead fan, grill/kitchen area, lots of seating through out the whole backyard. All 5 bedrooms have its own bathroom and outside access (4 of the bedrooms accessible to the pool and backyard). Back yard also has natural shade and beautiful flowers and humming birds. Loved it!!

Paradise in Palm Springs

Villa Amelita did not disappoint! The moment we stepped inside the front door, we felt a strong sense of home. All 5 bedrooms were spacious with access to the incredible backyard. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. The kitchen and laundry rooms were exceptionally equipped. Everyone loved gathering at the oversized island for breakfast and cocktail hour. The grounds were manicured and we all enjoyed many hours in the pool, on the putting green and playing cornhole. Such a perfect spot for a family, group of friends, or in our case, a mix of both attending our son’s wedding! Shout out to Manager Reginia and Host, Clare who made our stay such a seamless and memorable one! We can’t wait to return!

Great getaway in a perfect Palm Springs location

This place is a gem. It feels comfortable and homey - great for a group of friends. It easily sleeps 10 people with lots of private and groups spaces. All the amenities you need for a week away with friends. Easy walk to several restaurants and a short drive to downtown Palm Springs. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The real gem here was the owner and managers. Clare was very responsive and a great communicator. She was awesome and made us feel at home right away. We also met Regenia who made the check-in super simple, a real sweetheart. Guarantee: we will stay here again.

House to relax with family

Stayed with family to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Age range from teenagers to 70’s. House had space and activities for all to enjoy. Large backyard as well.Very quite area.

Our family of 4 (2 kids, 9 and 11) live in Los Angeles. My husband is from France and I am from Ireland. We fell in love with this property the minute we saw it! The views were incredible and we loved the huge private garden where all we can see are the trees and the mountains. Being in Little Tuscany, the property had a sort of Tuscan modern vibe, which we loved. The huge open kitchen was a real show stopper and the style was so unique and different from other properties we had seen. We loved the fact that we can be in town in minutes and even take the Buzz trolley which stops 5 minutes away. We came up with the name Villa Amelita from a combination of our daughter's middle name (Amelie) and our son's name (Liam). We hope our guests enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we do!!
