The Space:
When you arrive you will be greeted by beautiful gardens, a lovingly restored 1930s exterior and the convenience of a single carport.
As you walk in, you'll instantly feel at home. To your right you'll find the main queen bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and shower. Please note there is no toilet, so this cannot be considered an ensuite, only the shower and a sink and mirror for personal use. Adjacent to this is an additional queen bedroom, complete with a spacious built-in wardrobe.
On the other side of the hall is the heart of the home. The cosy lounge area is all about comfort and entertainment, offering comfortable seating and a variety of options for your enjoyment. Whether you're in the mood for some TV time, getting lost in a good book, or engaging in a board game, you'll find it here.
Entering from the hallway or living area, you'll discover the kitchen-dining space. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and essentials. While the six-seater dining suite offers the perfect setting for quality time with loved ones.
To the back of the home you'll find a cute and snug single bedroom, as well as the main bathroom. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower and a European-style laundry equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
Head out onto the deck from the hallway and soak up the outdoors. Grab a seat on the outdoor furniture, fire up a BBQ and watch the kids have a blast in the large backyard and tree swing — plenty of room for them to run wild and free. Maybe even pick yourself a fresh lemon!

The Neighborhood:
Newstead is located southeast of Launceston city, 7 minutes from the centre of the city. Characterised by a beautiful mix of well-manicured 20th century weatherboard homes, an array of solid red brick homes, along with the integration of spacious modern homes and designs The suburb has a great little shopping precinct including a coles, hairdresser, post office and boutiques.
Make your way down to the ever so popular Abbott Street, located in East Launceston. This street is often bustling with locals in the mornings and on weekends visiting some of Launceston’s most renowned cafés, shops, and a beloved gourmet gourmet grocery store.
Launceston City is just a stone's throw away. Here you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces. The City Park is not to be missed, surrounded by beautiful oak tree gardens, you will find unique and fun experiences to enjoy such as train rides, a playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory, and cheeky snow monkeys.
Whilst in the CBD, make sure to visit the Cataract Gorge. A spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.

To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:
METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!
BIKE RENTAL: Roll Cycles at 145 Wellington St, Launceston offer bike rentals with options to suit most riders. Whether you are taking a leisurely stroll around town or taking on our world-famous mountain bike trails, Roll Cycles have you covered.
UBER: Uber is a popular form of transport used by many locals and tourists. To use, simply download the ‘Uber’ app on your phone and book a ride to your destination.
TAXI: Local taxi service can be found on the internet.
AIRPORT SHUTTLE: The airport shuttle service can be found on the internet.
Other Things to Note:
There is off-street carparking provided for one car underneath the driveway carport; however this is quite narrow. There is ample free parking spaces directly outside the property.
Please note that there is two bathrooms within the property; however, just the one toilet with the ensuite only offers a shower and basin.
