Hot frustrating, nice view

Airconditioning had to be reset at the power box every 2 hrs, even when it was running it didnt blow cold air. There was a big hole in the wall behind single bed that had mould around it because of poor repair attempt. The sliding door for ensuite didnt close. The furniture on the verandah was falling apart, the sliding door between main bathroom and toilet was dirty and mouldy, my partner sat at dining room chair and a piece of wood fell off,. Positives, amazing kitchen and loads of utensils, loved the coffee pod machine, beautiful view.

Needs a very good clean

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Period stains on the sheets, dirty stains on the cushions on the master bed. The skirt around the bed was disgustingly dirty. The property boasted electric barbecue, but there was nowhere to plug it in so we couldn’t use it. TV in master place behind door had damage to the screen. There was a badly patched hole in the second bedroom the door for the ensuite wouldn’t close in there either. Looks like use a good clean rug and the rug is no longer white. It’s more of a dirty colour/blue. The overall cleanliness of the property was about a one out of 10. We may as well have slept on the floor because the bed was so hard and the main toilet ran and ran for ages after use. The drawer where the soap goes in the washing machine was covered in mould. We were told we were not allowed any visitors and that we could meet them on the street if we liked.... Now that’s hospitality.. overall Airlie beach itself was nice, but I will never stay at this hotel again five star price with the one star review. Completely rundown.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay. The appartment is spacious and has a great balcony. We had all the equipment we needed to cook and relax. Has TVs, Jacuzzi etc for those who may want to use them.The team sent many emails and messages with clear information and they were flexible to let us check out a couple of hours late on the Sunday.The only but is that there is a new site getting built next door and they make a lot of noise in the morning although at least they did not work during the weekend. Cheers.
