The property and home were amazing! The only issue we had was a lack of amenities, such as toilet paper and garbage bags. Other than that we had an incredible stay!

We’re so happy you enjoyed the quiet and secluded setting! It’s wonderful to hear you loved the beauty of the property—we can’t wait to welcome you back!
We had an excellent stay at the property. The home has plenty of space with a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed utilizing the home's kayaks (includes lifejackets) and outdoor seating/pier during the evenings. The home needed a little upfront dishware cleaning and air freshening, but overall it was a great fit for our needs!
We really enjoyed the lake, from kayaking to simply being on the deck. And the stay was comfortable. It was a pleasant, and it was beautiful…cheers Lake Arrowhead.Check in was easy. WiFi was fine. Kitchen had what was needed. 40 minutes to Portland.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your time at Lake Arrowhead! It sounds like you made the most of the lake—from kayaking to relaxing on the deck. 😊It’s great to hear that check-in was easy, the kitchen had what you needed, and everything was comfortable. We’d love to welcome you back anytime for another beautiful stay!
Great house for a family vacation - open main living space with views of the lake and separate spaces upstairs and in the basement for teens to spread out. Large deck with multiple comfy chairs was a plus. House was clean and bright with a well stocked kitchen. Good set up for fishing and swimming. Convenient first floor washer/dryer. Only con was no outdoor table space for meals, which would be a fantastic addition to the rental.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re thrilled to hear the house worked so well for your family, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the lake views. It’s great that the deck, kitchen, and first-floor washer/dryer added to your comfort, and that you enjoyed fishing and swimming. We appreciate your suggestion about adding outdoor table space—it’s a fantastic idea and something we’ll definitely consider for future guests. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Just as described on the listing. Remote enough that you feel secluded but not so far that it’s a pain to get to. Wonderful property with a beautiful lake.

The location was amazing right on the lake. The house was nice but due to the bedroom locations it was very difficult for a family with young kids. 1 room opened right to the outside with a slider down the basement. the primary room was on the main floor and another room upstairs. We were not able to leave any of our kids in a room on their own.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback, we’re so glad you enjoyed the amazing lakefront location! We appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the bedroom layout. We understand how important it is for families with young children to feel comfortable and at ease, and we recognize that the layout may not be ideal for every group. To help future guests, we’ll take a closer look at how we describe the home’s layout so families can better determine if it’s the right fit for their needs. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future."
House was ok….lake view was nice and house was clean. Had issue with primary bedroom shower and it broke before the end of our visit so had to use other bathroom. The couches were extremely uncomfortable and really need replacing. Had some internet issues and because we had some work calls it was concerning. I.e. Kept losing connectivity. For the price paid we expected slightly more.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the lake view and found the home clean. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. The shower concern in the primary bedroom is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are addressing this with our maintenance team to ensure it’s fully resolved. We also understand how important comfort and reliable internet are, especially when working remotely. Your comments regarding the couches and connectivity have been noted, and we are actively reviewing both to improve the overall guest experience. We truly value your feedback and will use it to make meaningful improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide a stay that better meets your expectations."
To start with a positive we liked the location of the home and kayaking on Lake Arrowhead. The main living space is open concept which is great for spending family time. There is a downstairs family room space that we did not use except for the office area. Beds were comfortable. Unfortunetly there were several things that we did not like: If you are traveling with small children (we have a 1 year old that just started walking) the deck off the main living space is NOT safe, children can easily fall through the railing! The kitchen is NOT stocked so be sure to bring everything you will need. (S & P and very old spices were the only things there). The house was clean except for the kitchen, I spend quite a bit of time washing dishes, pans, utensils and cleaning cuboard shelves before I felt comfortable using them. The pans are old teflon and flaking, luckily a family member had a later arrival and was able to bring a few pans from home.We had trouble with the main shower (no hot water) and the property manager came to look at it but nothing could be done without a plummer. We went with only one shower all week.If you need to contact the property manager use the phone number he does not respond to email. The sofas in the main living room are pretty worn and not very comfortable. other things:Water access is on the steeper side, so if you have mobility issues it will be difficult. There is very little sun on the property.

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the location, lake access for kayaking, and the open layout for family time, as well as the comfort of the beds. We sincerely appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Safety is very important to us, and we will review the deck railing to ensure it meets appropriate standards and clearly communicate any limitations for families with small children. We also apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the kitchen cleanliness and supplies. This is not the standard we strive for, and we will be addressing this with our cleaning team as well as reviewing kitchen inventory and cookware.Regarding the hot water issue, we’re sorry for the disruption during your stay. We understand how frustrating that must have been, and we will be following up to ensure it is fully resolved. We also appreciate your feedback on communication, furnishings, and accessibility. Thank you again!"
