The location is centrally located for snowmobiling and right on the trail. There are two restaurants in walking distance, a general store for supplies as well as gas to fuel the sleds at the begging of each day. Also, plenty of parking for trailer and vehicle. The cabin itself is very nicely appointed and has a great Adirondack feel.

We enjoyed our weekend in this cozy cottage. Easy walk to 2 restaurants and convenience store. Lake close by. Went to the Arts Council afternoon music event. Great band and nice people. Great area.

Suggested improvements:*Beam at top of stairs should have something hanging from it to avoid injury. 3 out of 4 of us bashed our head when attempting to look over the railing. It is a real hazard.*More towel racks needed*More washcloths, hand towels, dish towels would be helpful* PRINTED instructions on site (not electronic) for TV & remote usage; Wi-Fi password; location of thermostat; where exactly to take trash out, etc.*Reading lamps behind couch

Golf Tournament at Brantingham Golf Club

The location of this property was outstanding for our use. The Brantingham Golf Course was just a short ride down the road and (3) very nice restaurants/taverns are within walking distance. The one only minor inconvenience was that while yes there are two full bathrooms, they were one on each floor. This meant bathroom visit during the night some people had to go downstairs. Which really wasn't that bad.

This place was beautiful. It is well stocked and spacious. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. However, the upstairs bathroom is off the master bath and there is no entry for the guest room. Guest roommate had to use the downstairs bathroom. The guest room also has a double bed, not queen. We did have a plumbing issue with the downstairs bathroom twice over the weekend. The manager was very responsive and the plumber was responsive and fixed the issue. A longer term solution will be needed. If it wasn’t for the bathroom issue, I would have rated this a 5 star. Excellent location, walked to the Pine Lodge restaurant and had deer in our yard every morning. Awesome!

We liked the house and it is spacious and well stocked, however, we had one issue. The bedding had a strong mildew/sour odor and it was quite off putting. There were other sheets in the closet and we remade the bed, but the comforter still held that smell. We were in the area to visit a sick relative and only stayed two nights, had the stay been longer, I would have stripped the bed and washed everything. I do not anticipate paying for the clean bedding and having to provide it myself. And since I am being piqué, the lace curtains are due for a wash as well.
