Overall our stay was lovely, and we would happily stay again because of the location.Beautiful views, great beach access, quiet neighborhood. It was comfortable and so peaceful! Our linens were clean, and so was the shower and toilet. My only criticism is the rest could use some love, it seems like the bare minimum is being done house keeping wise between guests. There wasn't anything major, but it needs a good cleaning top to bottom. We stay in VRBOs often, and this is the least clean one we have ever encountered.
The house was exactly as described. Steps to the beach(it is a trek downhill but easy access. The rooms were great would definitely rent again

Beautiful view
Nothing can’t be more beautiful than the view and the crashing waves at this place! However after staying in many VRBOs this one still needs to fix the little things— sheets all need an upgrade, nothing worse than pilly sheets, real deck chairs that aren’t plastic would be amazing and an umbrella, beach chairs and a pizza cutter ( cuz it’s vacation duh), hot tub was questionable, and more silverware! So like I said small things that add up, but beautiful view and pretty responsive host!! Honestly new sheets would make it outstanding!!

Amazing Views
Family really enjoyed the sunsets here and also playing board/card games that were available. Lounging outside was right off the beach access trail was a personal fave. Driveway parking with a large minivan was tricky but 10/10 would stay again.

Weekend getaway
We stayed at the Lighthouse the weekend of 9/13-9/15. This was my father’s and stepmother’s first trip to Oregon traveling from Arkansas. The house and property were wonderful and made for a pleasantly memorable stay. Beach access is fantastic and the deck, path and decor were exceptional. There are 3 bedrooms however access to the bed/bath upstairs is through the bedroom underneath. For our situation, this was not a problem, but I would make sure that it was OK for your situation before deciding if this was the place for you. We were extremely pleased with the house and had a wonderful time.

Beach Fun
This house has a wonderful ocean view. The beach is black sand. Agates and other rocks can be found here. House was pleasant. The kitchen is very small and there is no dishwasher. The upstairs master bedroom has an amazing view and is very cozy. We enjoyed the kitchen seating nook. It would be better to grocery shop in a bigger town. Regular store selection was limited and prices were high. Although, the Co Op had some great items.
Amazing view of the ocean and sunset! Very quiet beach, long & great for walks. I think we saw 2 people the entire 3 days we were here, & the weather was great for this time of year. It's only a 3 minute beach walk to the left to get to the lake that's butted up against the ocean, if you want some forest and lake views! Love the cute short trail on the property to the beach (takes 1 minute). The ocean is not swim-friendly here, but we had no plans to do that anyways, and this probably contributed to the low beach traffic. The hot tub was great! Perfect tempurature. We watched the fishing boats hit the sea for a couple hours after dark from it. Unforgetable. The house was very clean, and has a stunning amount of very large windows, which made every moment amazing. We had breakfast while watching a whale take it's time and swim up the coast! I'm glad we brought our scopes, but it was close enough to follow without too. Wish we'd brough small children because the kids room looked so fun! Pro tips: Bring a couple chairs upstairs, that view is amazing and under-realized with no furnature near the window. Also, bring paper plates etc as there is no dishwasher here. Only things slightly negative I could warn about, is that the TV is far outdated & hard to look at (in case you get rained in, but we had board games at the ready anyways), and the water heater is turned too far down and *barely* warm enough for a shower (I was honestly going to turn it up, but it's locked up). A house.
The house was clean and comfortable for our group of two couples. The location allowed for viewing the stormy ocean while indoors and easily slipping down to the beach between rain storms. I didn't realize that one must go through the bedroom with the bunk beds to access the upstairs bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us but others may want to be aware of this. I also didn't realize that there was no dishwasher other than ourselves and those who came before us...There were a few items that we needed to rewash before use. If we come to this area again, I'd enjoy another stay at this beach house.
Let me start out by stating this review is coming from a small group of senior citizens who frequently do extended VRBO stays of 2-3 weeks at a time. The property was very clean and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. Only one of the three bedrooms had a closet. The bunk room had an armoire but it was full of games. There was a nice size dresser but it was full of extra bedding. The upstairs bedroom had spectacular views of the ocean but no place to store clothing. The upstairs bathroom was clean but the shower created a challenge for a senior in that you had to walk up several stairs to get into the shower. Leaving the shower, when wet, aised blood pressure. The only closet was in the bedroom on the north end of the home. The gas grille in the garage does not work. The large coffe maker only worked once but there was a backup so we had coffee. The entry way to the home is a real challenge for seniors. There's a large cobble-stone walk that has some stones loosened and reset above the overall surface. This created a real tripping and ankle-twisting hazard. The beach was easily accessed via a gently sloping access way. The beach itself is not good for casual walks along the shore. The sand is extremely loose and does not provide solid footing. It was a real effort to get to the shore and back. The host was very responsive when we pointed out there were no hangers. They were provided the next day.
