Welcome to your new favourite family friendly holiday home in Barbados! Conveniently located just 2 mins from the beach and the amenities of the beautiful historic Speightstown, Chindwin is a spacious vacation rental which features a massive private backyard with a large pool. Our home is ideal for large families or big groups of friends looking to explore Barbados from a classic Bajan home.

The ground floor features a generous living, dining, and fully-equipped kitchen area leading to the open patio with an additional dining area and our very well-loved table tennis table. This floor also has a separate TV room which leads to a bedroom that opens up onto the patio. This bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and balcony with partial ocean views. There is also one king size bedroom and a kids room with two single beds and a bunk bed (perfect for a kids' dormitory) on this floor.Two of the bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom while the master has an en suite. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, ensuring comfort for multi-generational family holidays.

Complimentary amenities include WiFi, TV, and weekly housekeeping. Mosquito screens are on all windows. Outside, enjoy a large garden with a 24ft x 12ft swimming pool, table tennis, two kayaks, and snorkeling gear. We had a brilliant holiday and the property was perfect for bringing three families together (6 adults and three children). The pool was great for the kids and safe with steps in the shallow end, and the outside space is perfect for relaxing in the day and the evenings, we enjoyed watching the garden visitors of monkeys, parrots and heron. We hired two cars so getting around the shops and beaches around Speightstown, and further afield to the holetown, the Atlantic coast and Harrison's Cave etc were all easily accessible. The inside space has a great kitchen with everything you need and spaces to spend time together but also spacious and private for each family. We would definitely return!

My family had a wonderful stay, everything at the villa was well organized. The kids had a marvelous time with the activities available, we were comfortable and quite relaxed, definitely will book again.

Perfect for a chill escape from our usual routine. The rooms were clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The decor had a nice balance between homely and stylish, and we appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, local artwork, and even a mini welcome snack. However, the tv is a bit small/outdated. Outdoors was also beautiful and the pool was very clean If you're looking for a spot to relax, laugh with your crew, and make great memories, this guest house is it. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this 4-bedroom home! The house was clean with many nice amenities and we had plenty of room for our group of five. Comfortable Spacious Home Close to Beach

Our group enjoyed staying at Chindwin. The house is large, and well appointed, particularly the kitchen, which was perfect for us, as we put it to use! We appreciated the beach towels and the washer. The pool was also nice on those occasions that we made it to the beach, but not into the water. Our neighbors, the goats, were endlessly entertaining. We walked to the small town to buy produce and enjoy the area. We would definitely return and stay at Chindwin again.

Property was situated in the middle of a true Bajan village, off the normal tourist areas. It was great for a family vacation with 3 different generations to make some fun memories. The kids loved the games cupboard and the pool. House was well equipped and easy to find things. Efficient contactless check in and check out with the concierge attentive to our needs. Having a car to get around makes sense for the property, but still close to beaches, food outlets and tourist attractions.

The accommodation was very clean and presented well. We arrived late so the street was very dark and quiet as we approached. Once we were on the property it was exactly what we were expecting. The host and property owner thought of every amenity that would make a vacation comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen had enough utensils to facilitate all of our guest plus more. There is ample beach towels, pool and snorkeling equipment. If there is room for improvement I would definitely suggest a dryer in the property as the monkeys were attempting to steal our clothes. We also were not aware of or merely overlooked the fact that there is a lady that comes every few days to straighten up the place. The issue was she didn't identify herself when she arrived which activated my security senses with a barrage of questions; however, she was polite and there was no problem after all. I would highly recommend this property.

Loved the monkeys in the backyard

We had a fantastic stay at the Chindwin house! Our group of 10 people had plenty of room and enjoyed staying here for 7 nights. The pool was great fun after the sun went down, and the big covered porch kept us in the shade and out of the rain. From here we watched the monkeys every morning come down from the trees and walk along the fence line to the front yard. The place was clean and very welcoming. Staff came twice during our stay to clean sheets and towels. Plenty of parking for our two rental cars. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there as leaves would fall in daily. The furniture in the common areas were a bit uncomfortable and dated. These areas also lacked air conditioning, however, there were plenty of windows to open up and get a cross breeze. We didn’t spend much time inside anyway, so no big deal. The bedrooms each had air conditioning and comfortable beds. Blue Scapes was easy to contact during our stay and were quick to respond when we had questions and issues (helped us get into the safe when the batteries died). The house is located fairly close to the ocean and not far from a large grocery store and restaurants. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet, and we felt safe during our stay. For the price and number of rooms, it was perfect for our group and we would stay here again.

Highlights were daily monkey visits, great weather - loved opening all the windows and doors every day, local fruit stand - was a great tip - must visit, the pool was a great added benefit, yard and pool area was wonderful and we had everything we needed. Glad we rented a car to see all of the island. Great home base to visit with our adult children! ** Check out " Happy Families" card game - we played this each night it was a fun game....new to us all..so check out the game cabinet upstairs :) - The Ritters!
