This hidden gem is located in the heart of downtown Tucson on historic 4th Avenue & 12th Street. It is the ideal place to relax in pure luxury. There are many unique pieces of artwork and the furniture is from the early 20th century. You will be treated as if you were royalty in this 120-year-old lovingly restored Queen Anne style home built in 1897. There are many stories to be made in this house so you have a few tales to share with your family after your amazing trip to sunny Tucson, Arizona. This true work of art has 2 bedrooms in the main house with private bathrooms for each room.

-The Room has queen bed with Euro-top mattresses, plush comforters.

-There is a luxurious Dining room lit by a 6 foot chandelier.
-The adjacent dining room comfortably seats 6 with a 1940'S dining room set and with hand carved chairs.
-The kitchen has a comfortable cooking environment.
-There is a Ice Machine & Filtered Water on-site.
-The exterior courtyard is filled with dozens of plants that attract amazing birds and butterflies.

-There is a brick gas fire-pit that seats up to 9 people and creates a central setting to relax at night.

It is the ideal place to be if you want to enjoy downtown Tucson. You are just 1-2 blocks away from the center of it all with more than two dozen restaurants, bars, and breweries or even catch a show at The Rialto or historic Fox Theater. The Modern Streetcar stop is a block away and can take you to the University of Arizona, Tucson Convention Center, the Mercado and more. Catch a Roadrunners hockey game or stroll along 4th Avenue to shop and dine. Why waste money on a cab or stay in a boring hotel when you can stay in this luxury historic home.

A great place to stay in downtown Tucson

Just spent three days at this property in downtown Tucson. Extremely well maintained home in a compound of like properties. A screaming deal for the price. Very comfortable! We will definitely stay again in the future. Great support from Daniel the property manager.

Perfect accommodations!

The property was perfect! Great location. 5 minute walk to downtown to enjoy the night life and good eats. Plenty of space for parking. Confortable beds. Updated and clean bathrooms. Lovely outdoor seating/views of the courtyard. All the kitchen necessities. Bonus was the historic/ornate Home and attentive property manager, Daniel. Couldn’t ask for much more! We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The 4th Ave. property is gorgeous!

The property is gorgeous and the location is great. The one disappointment is that the ad claimed it slept 6; there was no room for #5 and 6! Fortunately this wasn't a big problem for us, but for some visitors it could be a disaster. The listing needs to be corrected ASAP. Mike DiVittorio

Impeccably maintained and provisioned

This home was within minutes of the Rialto Theater downtown which is where our concert was, there were plenty of places within walking distance for our dining/drinking pleasure (although I would recommend avoiding the Hub). The home is beautifully appointed and if you love antiques you will be in seventh heaven. Bathrooms are lovely and modern w/plush towels and plenty of hot water. The grounds are wonderful and this place has several units and large outdoor area that would be perfect for a big group who wants to enjoy time together w/their own accommodations. Also, parking is within a gated area which gives one peace of mind that your vehicle is close by and safe. Our host, Daniel, was very very nice and ultra responsive. If I have any complaint at all about renting this property, it is with the VRBO site which I found extremely cumbersome and the fact that there was information on the site informing me that I would get entry instructions into property once I was booked, but then were unavailable and then requires more work to make sure one understands the process and feels comfortable that you're not going to be left hanging when you arrive. Gorgeous and clean property. . Not so great communication with owner or his contact person.

We loved the house and its proximity to downtown Tucson. Very clean and beautifully decorated. There were some issues with not being able to reach the owner or his contact person when we needed to speak with them. That is the only hesitation. Otherwise we would have given 5 stars.

Daniel, our contact was beyond attentive. He was friendly, enjoyable and responsive. The house was impeccable: clean, well equipped, thoughtful items (earplugs, soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover...) all working appliances, great outdoor area. The historical decor, antiques, period furniture and impressive light fixtures were perfectly selected.

Loved this property!

This house is a hidden gem in downtown Tucson! We loved the property and the manager, Daniel, was very accommodating and responsive. The White House is beautifully furnished with period pieces. The courtyard is peaceful and quiet. We would definitely rent this property again.
