Family Holiday

Location perfect, house was lovely. Beds fantastic. Was not a modern home but it was perfect for our families. The other reviews did have me very worried about our stay but I was very pleasantly surprised. The patio and views were just spectacular. The is no TV upstairs but we actually loved that. Please don’t let the previous reviews stop you from booking. We had a great holiday.

Great position, beds comfortable but house was very dirty - lot mildew, ants, cockroaches and BBQ caught fire with one use as so much fat - couldn’t use it again

Since I didn’t get a response from the rental team here is my honest review of our 3 night stay. We were sadly disappointed with our time at this property. Whilst the cleaners had done a good job with their tasks ie with beds, bathrooms, floors etc the house as a whole is rundown with old appliances and needs a deeper clean by the owners. The downstairs kitchen is basically nonfunctional, spiders and bugs in the draws, all the cupboards and draws need a proper wipe down and organising. There are bugs all throughout the house, we needed to throw away food as little cockroaches got into it overnight. We woke to cockroaches in our bedroom on the floor and there are spiders living in the wardrobes. There is mould growing on the ceilings in the downstairs bedroom. The windows and fly screens are covered in a thick layer of dust and the wardrobes stunk of mildew so we were unable to use any of them. We got woken up multiple times during the night from a loud horn noise coming from what we assume is the plumbing. The kettle and toaster were full of rust and crumbs, the bbq was filthy and needed a good clean before we could use it.The location is obviously fabulous and the best part of this accommodation, we understand that's where the price point comes from but it's disappointing to spend thousands on rundown accommodation.Highly recommend a Reno before leasing this out out again.
