This beautiful carriage house was a great find! The house is actually a recent addition built to complement the original historic home. It is completely private. It has every modern touch but also some gorgeous vintage details. It was very clean, spacious, and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Love the historic neighborhood. The host was helpful with recommendations too. Definitely recommend!

From the Owner: "Thanks for your kind thoughts. We’re glad you had a nice stay. Come back and see us again."
I cannot overstate how wonderful this place is! Once you climb the stairs to the totally private apartment over the carriage house you are in a gorgeous place with pleasant, expansive views in every direction of the historic residential area where it’s located, as well as a couple of stained glass windows to add charm. My wife and I chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect!
It is elegant, charming and romantic, but practical too, as it has 3 large tv’s, a studio/extra sleeping area, a very ample bathroom with a separate shower and tub. Also a comfortable living room, a small but useful kitchen and a dining table for 6. The main bedroom is comfy with a king-sized bed. The whole place is enchanced with very high ceilings (Í’d say at least 10, maybe 11 feet high). This is a peaceful, quiet area.
Its central location just a couple of blocks from Broadway made it easy to reach any place we wanted to visit with a 10-minute drive.
Our host, John, answered my messages right away, and was extremely kind and helpful in every way! We were even received with a plate of blueberry muffins, great for next’s day’s breakfast!
I seriously doubt that you could find a nicer place in Tyler. This is the place to stay!
