Thanks so much for the 10/10 review! It means a lot to hear the place was a great fit for your trip and that you felt well taken care of. Come stay with us again anytime you're in the area āŗļø
Overall a wonderful stay. Thereās an exterior light that switches on and off ALL NIGHT LONG that seriously disrupted our sleep. Another guest mentioned it in their review last August and nothing has been done about it. The house would also benefit from hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms to hang towels and clothes. Other than that, itās a great stay.

Appreciate the "retreat" nature of this home after activities for the day. Nice proximity to a couple of convenience stores, local "attractions", and easy on/off to parkway for further excursions. Only "complaint", would be nice to have a little more water pressure for the shower.

Overall great place. The area is noisy due to being near a road but overall good stay. The key pad wasnāt working when we arrived and had to contact the management and was able to get the code for the key lock. Beautiful home, and great price!

Booked this place due to location. Itās super close to red river gorge and all that it brings. The front of the house is really close to the road but the back makes up for it. The fence makes it feel secluded and the hill behind the house allowed our dog to get all her zoomies out! Was an amazing place to stay and you can tell someone really went out of their way to make it look really nice! 10 out of 10 would stay again

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Weāre thrilled to hear that the cabin was the perfect spot for your Red River Gorge adventure. It sounds like your dog had just as much fun as you did with all the space to run around! It really means a lot to hear that you appreciated the care thatās been put into making the space comfortable and inviting. Weād love to have you back anytimeā10 out of 10, weāll be ready for your return! š
The property was exactly as it was described. It was a great location for us and the house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We appreciated all the little things that the owner thought to include, like extra cozy blankets, toiletries, and kitchenware. We were very relaxed in the home. The beds were very comfortable, as were the sofa and chairs. The hot tub and firepit were clean and ready to go. We were looking forward to using them, but never got the change on this trip. Additionally, the communication with the owner was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Location and amenities on the property were great. It was close to good hiking trails. However, when we got there, the smoke detector in the basement (which was locked) was chirping. The outside garbage was close to overflowing. We contacted the company through the app. They were quick to respond, however no one came to fix the problem. So the smoke alarm chirped all three nights we were there. My girlfriend downloaded a white noise app so, thankfully, we were able to get some sleep.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Weāre glad you enjoyed the location, amenities, and easy access to hiking trails. That said, we sincerely apologize for the issues with the smoke detector and garbage during your stay. Even though our team responded quickly, we regret that the problem wasnāt fully resolved and that you had to deal with the chirping for your entire visit.
We appreciate your patience and resourcefulness in making the best of it, but we know this wasnāt the seamless experience you deserved. Weāll be following up with our team to ensure these concerns are addressed promptly moving forward. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Place nicely kept and easy to find. Entry code didnāt work so was a bit of a hassle to get in. Management responded quickly and fixed the issue so it was a minor inconvenience. Couldnāt get Wi-Fi connection and some highway noise was the biggest negative.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! Weāre glad to hear you found the place nicely kept and easy to find, and we appreciate your patience with the entry code issue ā weāre happy our team was able to respond quickly and get it resolved. We also appreciate you noting the Wi-Fi trouble and highway noise, as feedback like this helps us continue improving the guest experience. Weāre glad it was only a minor inconvenience overall and would love to host you again!
It was centrally located. Our only issue was we are animal rights activists. The people across the street kept a dog on a chain most of the time we were there - in the heat or rain but they had another dog that was inside and brought out on a leash. Not your fault but it was hard for us to sleep knowing that dog was chained up outside. it is illegal to do that in Tennessee but we undertand there isn't a no chain law in Kentucky.

Thank you for your feedback. Weāre glad you found the location convenient, and we truly understand how upsetting it must have been to witness that situation with the neighborās dog during your stay. While we donāt have control over neighboring properties, we genuinely care about the comfort and peace of mind of our guests and appreciate you sharing this with us. We hope the rest of your time at the cabin was enjoyable, and weād love the chance to host you again in the future.
Property has clearly been recently updated and they did not skimp on the finishes. Soft close custom cabinetry, stone countertops, hardwood floors, and tile shower. Backyard is private with hot tub, firepit, and grill. Beds were very comfortable. The update is top notch.
Only negative is the proximity to the road and a couple of properties nearby that are a little messy to look at. Those do not detract from the stay at all. Minutes from the interstate, trails, State Park and restaurants. Highly recommend this property.
Centrally located home for exploring Red river gorge
The home appears to be very newly remodeled. Nicely decorated and very clean. Having a washer/dryer was a plus. We were there for 4 nights. Host was quick to respond to questions during our stay. Hot tub had a great view of the night sky.
Home location is close to roads so you do hear traffic but that was mentioned in description. The microwave and upper kitchen cupboards are mounted higher than typical so it could be an issue if you are of short stature.

We're also glad to hear that our Guest Services team was responsive to any questions you had during your time with us. Your feedback about the kitchen layout is valuable, and we'll definitely take it into consideration for future improvements.
We appreciate your understanding about the proximity to roads and traffic noise, as mentioned in the description. Despite that, we hope you were still able to enjoy the beautiful views and night sky from the hot tub!
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us at 50 Shades of Slade. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable stay in the future!
Overall good experience. Property was updated and in convenient location.
Down fall would be arrival. As seen in other comment(s), code did not work. Called management and got issues resolved fairly quickly (Heather was great).
Road noise was a bit on the loud side but not terrible.
