Wonderful Summer Vacation for Large Family

This house has everything you need for a summer stay! Well supplied kitchen, plenty of space for 16 people, made the trip even easier by the property providing linens, towels, paper products and toiletries. The pool was great and children’s playground was perfect for our grandkids. Chrissy, our contact person, was very responsive to any questions I had and was so kind to leave us some special treats upon arrival! We will definitely be returning.

Perfect place to have a college friend reunion! The house was vast and comfortable, with a perfect number of bedroom, beds, and bathrooms. The location is secluded but not remote. I liked that this is clearly a family home, not a faceless investment property. When the hot water stopped working, we got it fixed within 5 minutes with a call to Chrissy, the property manager. Only complaint is that the hot tub was a little pond-y, but that's easily addressed. Overall, super fun stay in a great place!

We're so glad this was the perfect spot for a college reunion! It means a lot to hear that the space felt like a true family home rather than just another rental, and that the size and layout worked so well for the group. We're happy any hiccups were resolved quickly so they didn't get in the way of the fun. Thanks for the note on the hot tub, that kind of feedback helps us keep things in top shape. Sounds like a great time all around, and we're thrilled you enjoyed the stay!

We had a wonderful family vacation in this Monterey home. The location was lovely, near Great Barrington with a private location in the woods. The amenities were amazing. Our contact was very nice. The home needs some love and care. It was not clean when we arrived. Actually it was pretty dirty. We did our own clean up to make our family comfortable. There were many broken items, torn carpets, a broken screen. I would recommend taking pictures of any broken items or dirty areas to show to the host when you arrive. Others then the lack of cleanliness and TLC this home is amazing.

Fabulous property for multi-age group

Wow what a property—we had a wonderful group with ages spanning 5 years-75 years old. This property has enough space and amenities to keep everyone happy! The local hosts were easy to connect with, and the house is stocked with everything we needed to have a great time. We loved all of the premium touches—this was an easy “home away from home” and we would love to come back when the pool is ready to swim in!

This is a lovely home and a great size for larger groups with multiple families. The living spaces are large enough to seat everyone together, whether it be inside the living room, dining room, the spacious screened in porch, or outdoor area. Check in and communication was great and prompt with all requests (such as needing a propane refill). The home was very clean and had a ton of extra useful things already in stock for us to use.
