Pictures are deceiving
The owner was great at communicating! We were impressed how often he reached out, even prior to staying. Half of our family arrived the first day late at night, exhausted, so we basically came in and went to sleep after checking the place out a little. The next day was all the errands you do to get ready for the week and picking up the remainder of our family. We had noticed a few some unclean things, but we weren’t too worried about it as we know things can be missed. The longer we were actually in the house, the more we realized was not clean. Dirty dishes in the cupboards, mirrors, bathroom vanities, kitchen counters not wiped down. I don’t believe the place had been swept or mopped in a while as there was hair everywhere. I don’t mean a strand here and there, there would be a dust bunny of hair that would roll out from under the bed. Two out of the three showers have quite a bit of mold as well as water damage to the bottom of the vanities in both those same bathrooms, which I assume would have mold as well. When we realized that, I reached out to the owner and he had the property manager call me. Her response was that they had cleaned the mold and if I needed she would send a cleaner to come “wipe the windows off”. She was rude and blamed us for not reaching out sooner and said that the owner is aware he needs to remodel which was not said anywhere in the listing. The pool was nice though. Also, if you do stay, bring your own washcloths as they don’t provide a single one
