Bitter sweet cottage getaway

Never had a cottage with roof leak (fortunately it didn't rain) and gas leak (I had to put a fan to ventilate the gas smell out of the cottage window) and no other cabins were available. The cabin needs a complete renovation and maintenance...and shouldn't be put in the market. Bad supply of cookware and silverware. water crafts were in bad shape...one canoe actually leaks and I had to race back with my son in the canoe scouping water out at the same time! Not enough paddles, etc...Lucky your caretaker (despite we had to use google translator to communicate), she did a good job trying to accommodating our needs, which made up the bad part of our trip.
