Lovingly returned to life, this beautiful little cottage has been enjoyed by holiday makers for a number of years.

This pet friendly cottage now begins its new life as 'The Boathouse' and we'd love to welcome you.

A beautiful blend of original features and character together with comfort and style. Enjoy the unique charm and history that only 'The Boathouse' can offer you in the sleepy town of Clayton Bay, South Australia.

‘The Boathouse' is located in arguably the nicest spot, on the nicest strip of Clayton Bay. At 'The Boathouse' you will enjoy uninterrupted waterfront and bay views from all aspects of this charming, two bedroom cottage.

Whether enjoying a picnic under the shade of the trees in the lovely rear garden or glass of wine centre stage on the front deck, you'll feel privileged to be able to enjoy this space. With almost no streetlights, you'll get to enjoy the stars and sunsets from the comfort of 'The Boathouse'.

Clayton Bay, located on Lake Alexandrina and Lower River Murray in the Coorong region is an idyllic town just over an hour from the Adelaide CBD. It offers guests a rare opportunity to bask in the serenity of a sleepy town or enjoy it as a gateway to the hidden gems of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Historical Milang is a short drive away. Visits to wineries in Langhorne Creek and Currency Creek are less than 30 minutes away as are the beautiful spots of Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island and Strathalbyn. Be sure to bring home something special to enjoy during a stunning sunset on the front deck.

If you prefer to stay close, 'The Boathouse' has puzzles, inside and outside games and of course wifi and a smart tv for your enjoyment.

Locally, you can hire a bike, SUPs and kayaks, take your boat out, book a Coorong boat trip or enjoy a meal at the local café and restaurant, Pier 28. And of course, there's the magnificent birdlife.
