A friend and I stayed for 4 nights and we used the apt for showering and sleeping. Adequate room and amenities beware there are narrow stirs up to space. Cleanliness midway. Location was the draw the icing on the cake
Overall the place was clean and cute. It was convenient to all the attractions so that was nice. Bed was a little uncomfortable but I’m used to a firm mattress.
The location was perfect. We parked the car and we’re able to walk EVERYWHERE we wanted to visit. The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed.
Great place. It's in the eves of the Second floor, so low ceilings. Shower head is low - which was great for me, but my 6ft husband had to bend to shower his head. But great place - had what we needed and i loved the ceiling fans in all the rooms. Comfy beds. comfortableBedsNeeds we're

Cottage by the river - 5 stars
As a solo traveler I was searching for a cozy spot within walkable distance of all major attractions. This unit had the location perfect, right along the niagara river with local historic charm and multiple amenities that are not typical of many rentals. There were extra soaps, teabags, an hair dryer, and even a bag of rice. Niagara themed DVDs and magazines. A beautiful driveway view with maple trees. If I return to Niagara I hope to stay here again. Thank you!
It was a nice little cottage. Very quaint, and cozy! It does have about 16-18 steps from the entrance up to the apartment, which wasn't a problem for us. We were able to take our two dogs, which made it even better! 5 stars😊
It was all right, much smaller than the pictures make it out to be, it's a very old apartment above a garage and there are many things that have been retrofitted to make it a livable space. There was a lot of painted over wood that may have been needing replacement. The bed creaked, the floors were slanted, there was no extra toilet paper or hand soap, no shower amenities either. The shower itself was extremely small, like I had to bend down to wash my hair, and had mildew in the grout.
There were ivy vines growing in through the screen in the bathroom and if you're sitting on the toilet you could rest your feet inside the shower.
It was perfect. Niagra River and trail was across the street and easily accessible. We could hear the Falls from the house. We easily walked to the Niagra Falls State Park and the Falls from the Carriage House. The Carriage House is charming. It was clean. The price is great.

This property needs a lot of work and cleaning. We left after 1 night. I would not recommend.
This is an upstairs apartment above an old cottage style garage, part of a row of historic houses. It was across the street from the Niagara Falls state park trail system with lots of green space. Everything we wanted to check out was a great walking distance!
Apartment could use more storage/shelving in kitchen and bathroom areas. We had all the basic necessities and enough cooking supplies. Radiator heaters were a little loud however there was an electric heater provided as well. Would have been nice to have a full size coffee maker and the kitchen could have been cleaner but we always wash the provided dishes before we use them when we go anywhere. Futon served it's purpose but would have been nice to have more seating options. Bed was ok and shower pressure decent . For the price you can't beat this location and the charm of this historic space.

Do not stay here
Very unclean and unkept. The space is very old and no renovations. A/C units are not enough to keep the place cool. Kitchen appliances barely work. Water damage was covered up with plywood and painted. All blankets and bedding are old and dingy. Did not feel clean. Was not an enjoyable stay.
It is very convenient to the falls. However, that’s the highlight.
Not worth the money.
I asked for a full refund. Did not match listing.
I’d give this zero stars if I could. At a glance, this place is adorable and could actually be really cute with some TLC. But to stay with two kids - Awful awful awful!!! I wrote and asked for assistance. The solution was trash!! If you like dirt and mold (LOTS OF IT), if you’re ok with vines growing into the bathroom windows. Dead bugs and more spiderwebs than you can count. Dried pepper and onions on the frying pan, mustard stains on the table cloth, and all this in the hottest living conditions then this is the place for you. The couch in the living room is not suitable for anyone to sleep on with a bar down the center. You’d need to bring air mattresses for guest 3 and 4. The crib in the main room just takes up necessary space. I had to wash the two filters in the ac units and while they did blow cold air, they were no way strong enough to cool the place to a comfortable temperature. We left after one night, tried to give it a chance, closed the blinds and put ac’s on high and went to sight see, when we returned for lunch, it was hotter than it was when we left. We couldn’t stand it. The owner accused me of not understanding how to use the ac unit. That was a cop out. I know how to use air conditioners. I’m so disappointed because we had to spend the remainder of the week in a hotel which was not the experience we were hoping for but at least it was clean and cool. We brought food to grill, the patio was so overgrown we could not use it. Such a bummer!!!
