End of Cul-de-Sac. above us is 100's of acres of treed land. We're only just over a year old, dedicated parking, gas stove, soaker tub, dishwasher, washer & dryer. Queen & Double bed. Bedroom & living room have TV's. NetFlix, Disney+ & Prime Video & DisneyPlus - Extensive cable package - Covered patio, BBQ, private entrance. High Speed WiFi - free 240 volt electric car charger. Upstairs fully carpeted with sound insulation.

Near Happy Valley rd, an 8 min drive to Langford. 25 min to Victoria. Hourly busses. A car is recommended.

The space:

There is a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a view of our flower beds. A bathroom with a soaker bathtub and great shower head. A chef's' kitchen with a gas stove, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher. There's an island cutting board. A comfortable couch that expands into a double bed. There is a 50 inch TV in the living room and a 40 inch TV in the bedroom. We have a baby's crib for you to use.

Guest access

You have full access to the back yard: it is small, private and quite beautiful. We have a picnic table and small pond and 12 foot waterfall. There is a side garden and you're invited to eat a couple cherry tomatoes if they're ripe. You have full access to the washer and dryer. We are the last house in a cul-de-sac, there is only space for one car, but more parking close by.

Reyfield was prompt, friendly and overall a great host. He was most helpful with ideas and tips for the area. The space was fantastic and every bit as relaxing as shown in the ads and photos. A very laidback location but in an area that is accessible to Victoria and other sites and areas. If you want something relaxing, this is the place.

What a beautiful place! What a wonderful stay at the property of Ryefield & Mayuko!The flat is very well equiped and cosy! The communication and the hospitality are excellent! And the garden is stunning!We can definitely recommend staying there!

Stayed for two weeks at the end of March. Everything was a 10. Stayed in many VRBO places and this place was one of the best. The kitchen was completely stalked with just about anything you would need including very sharp knives. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best VRBO hosts we’ve ever had! The space is absolutely wonderful, the garden is breathtaking, we had everything we needed for our family getaway to the south of the island. Ryefield and Mayuko curated a fantastic home away from home and provided ample local suggestions to make our stay extra special. Thank you so much!

This property was perfect for us! Great location, there were lots of beaches and hiking options not too far away. The suite was quiet and comfortable with all the amenities we required. The private garden was a great spot to sit and relax with a cold beverage and our hosts made sure to let us know they were available if we were in need of anything else.This was the perfect spit for our weekend away on the Island! Thank you

The host was extremely welcoming. Even helped us scrape the frost off our car window in the morning. He went above and beyond. He was quick to respond to messages. Amenities were many - the place is stocked with everything you could need. Everything is in working order and comfortable (bed and couch too). The place was warm and cosy in January.The back yard was so beautiful. We both truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

Just came back from a stay at Ryefield and Mayuko's. All three of us were ENCHANTED with this property but also the quality of service and care we received from the hosts. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The attention to detail made a difference, it was like being in the comfort of home. Ryefield gave us great suggestions for activities and places to see and was genuinely happy to get our feedback. They were both very attentive to our needs and interests. We enjoyed many home cooked meals made easy with the amazing gas oven and BBQ. The dishwasher was super quiet and knifes of good quality and sharp. Triangle mountain sits right behind their property and you can access trails and beautiful views of Langford. Have no doubt about this place...you will be charmed! Manon, Jy and Micheline

My family and I stayed for one month, and I have to say, it was one of the best places we've stayed at! From the moment we checked in, right to our very last day, Ryefield and his wife Mayuko made us feel completely at home! They were super attentive to any of our needs, offered us full use of their gorgeous backyard, and were an absolute pleasure to chat with when our paths crossed now and again. They are both very passionate about gardening, and their hard work is evident while relaxing on the back porch and enjoying the very serene view in their yard. The unit has everything needed for a home away from home, and very comfortable and cozy. I would absolutely return for a stay here again if I'm the area, and would highly recommend to anyone!

We had such a wonderful stay with Demian and Mayuko. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome. Their home is cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. it truly felt like a home away from home.One of our favorite parts was the beautiful garden. We loved spending our mornings and evenings there, sipping tea beside the charming little waterfall they built. It was such a peaceful and special space to relax and unwind.They were excellent hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay with warmth and kindness. We were especially touched by the thoughtful gestures they extended to us. Since we didn't have a car, Demian kindly offered to drive us to the bus stop, which was greatly appreciated. They also shared some homemade palak paneer with us, and it was absolutely delicious!You can really see the care, effort, and love they have put into their property and the guest experience. Every detail reflects their generosity and hospitality.Thank you both so much for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and truly special place.
