There were roaches in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. We were surprised to know the main oven didn't work. There was a small counter top oven. When I attempted to address it with the host she/he said they were under no obligation to tell us that the regular oven didn’t work. The gost stated that the regular oven was disconnected due to a previous issue with a guest. The host then stated this is why they don't recommend guest of more than ten. We had under ten guest. Further what does the number of gurst have to do with the oven? The property was very clean but the beds are really uncomfortable. Very thin matresses. The positive was that it is very spacious, nice outside seating. I would not stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found the property very clean, spacious, and appreciated the nice outside seating.
However, we are sincerely concerned and apologize that you encountered roaches in the kitchen and bedroom, and that you found the beds to be uncomfortable. We regret that the condition of the main oven was not disclosed upfront, and we sincerely apologize for the resulting communication breakdown and the confusing response you received. While we confirm our property is regularly fumigated and that an alternative countertop oven was available, we understand this substitution and the lack of clarity were unacceptable. We have already addressed the oven issue to ensure full disclosure for future guests and are investigating both the pest control service and the condition of the mattresses immediately. We apologize that these serious issues negatively impacted your stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the amenities and the view. Exactly as described. However, the check in instructions were incorrect and is last 4 of phone number, followed by the # sign. Instructions provided said last 3 of phone number. It made it very frustrating upon check in. Otherwise 100% successful trip. Just recommend updating your check in instructions with accurate information.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and the amenities. Apologies for the check-in issue; we'll update the instructions to ensure accuracy. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you again.
The house is a bit away from everything close to the coast and in a nice, small community. The layout of the house is interesting, with 3 separate air-conditioned spaces all connected by the garage. Third floor has a half bath in a crawl space and a cute/unexpected kids play area with all sorts of toys for the little kids. Our small kids spent the majority of the time on that third floor.Backyard is nice with a small grill and playground. There is community pool and walking path around the lake just out the back gate, but unfortunately that gate is locked and the pool off limits (despite initial indications from the host that we could use it) due to apparently bad acting prior guests who ruined it for everyone. The bunk beds in the main bedroom are thin aluminum and very squeaky and not for light sleepers. House has all of the pots and pans that you would need. The ignition on the gas stove does not work and you have to use the supplied lighter to light the stove, which sometimes proved challenging because the burners are not identified on the stove. You have to turn the nob and guess which burner has turned on and hope to not guess wrong and get burned by a flare up of gas. We made it work though and cooked for most meals. The biggest problem was the gate. It closes automatically without warning or sensors, resulting in my car getting caught in the gate while it closed, destroying all fenders, doors, and mirrors and needing thousands of dollars of body work.

AC trouble
Here's what was good: The place looked good and had comfortable seating. The kitchen looked nice and the gas stove top and air fryer worked well. The pool and lake were pleasant to look at and the playground got a lot of use from 3 kids. Here's what wasn't good. The upstairs AC stopped working the day we arrived. They had no solution for this. We had already unloaded all our stuff and didn't want to leave. Because the downstairs thermostat was upstairs, the ther was no way to adequately control the downstairs AC. So it was either on or off as we manually set it. So we were either very cold or getting warm. Since we were gone during the day and only had to deal with heat at night, we stayed and they gave us a discount. All the windows opened but there were no screens on them. The double beds were very uncomfortable. All of the mattresses sink to the middle. One of the beds had a slat was broken on it. Putting that mattress on the floor improved it a little. This house is listed as a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom. IT IS NOT! It is 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 half bathrooms. Two half bathrooms do not count as one full!It has a great gas oven but we were told to use the air fryer. I'm assuming the gas oven is not used. The kitchen was not stocked well. The table tennis table listed as on the property was not there. In fairness, they said they had a rowdy group the week before and they broke it. Another was said to be on order. The playground wood is starting to rot.

We personally inspected the house one or two hours before the guests' arrival. Both air conditioners were working at 2:30 PM on March 13th, the same day they arrived. When the guests arrived at the property at 3:00 PM, we received a complaint that the air conditioner was not working at 8:40 PM.
We responded immediately to our guests trying to find a solution, it was a little late to find someone to come fix or check.
We found a company that fixes air conditioning and gave us an appointment for the next day, March 14th, at 9:00 am.
I spoke to the guest about the situation and we gave them the option to find another place. We apologized to them and told them they wouldn't have to pay for that night.
On March 14, we had the air conditioning technician at our house at 9:00 a.m. The technician said we needed to replace it, but it couldn't be done that same day since it was a long-hour job.
The AC has now been replaced.
The guests tampered with the house's electrical box without informing us that something was wrong with the air conditioning. They also removed the mattresses from the beds and modified the outdoor chairs and tables. House rules state that no guests are allowed to modify or move anything on the property.
At no point do we prohibit guests from using the oven; on the contrary, we politely explain how to use it. The windows don't have mosquito nets because they aren't necessary. The air conditioning and heating always work well.
We always strive to make our guests feel comfortable at home. The kitchen is always stocked with everything you need. We have plates for 10 people, glasses, utensils, pots, a blender, a state-of-the-art oven with an air fryer, an electric can cutter, food storage containers, salad trays, a cutting board, and knives. We always provide our guests with 3 rolls of kitchen paper, salt, oil, and pepper. This guest is provided with 18 rolls of toilet paper, 25 body towels, 6 large hand towels, 6 small hand towels, and 6 face towels.
The house has two floors. The thermostats are on the second floor, where the two air conditioners are controlled: one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. Because the house is very large, two thermostats are needed. The upstairs air conditioner was the one that was damaged; the downstairs one is in excellent condition, and both thermostats are easily accessible, as they are located in the main living area.
The house has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.
The ping-pong table wasn't there and still isn't because some guests damaged it. We have other plans for the space where the ping-pong table was, so we haven’t installed it yet.
