Beautiful Montana Log Home with Stunning Forested Views!

Nestled on 3 forested acres, Cabin in the Woods offers the perfect retreat for those seeking an idyllic getaway. Boasting 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms—plus an open bunk space—this pet-friendly abode caters to every member of the family and sleeps 9.

With prior approval, we are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs for an additional non-refundable pet fee of 200 USD per dog, plus a 100 USD cleaning fee, plus applicable taxes. Pets must be well-trained and crated at all times when the owner isn’t present. You must notify the host if you are bringing a pet so that the proper fees can be collected.

Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

We enjoyed our stay here! The house is private and spacious. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kids enjoyed sleeping in the built in bunks downstairs. The kitchen had most everything we needed to make family meals. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

This was the perfect getaway in the beautiful backdrop of Montana with a few caveats. The inability to check in early (even by a few minutes) made for a very long travel day. This was not made clear until we received the welcome email and flights were booked. The interior and exterior of the home could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The grounds weren't mowed until a few days after our arrival and there was a lot of dog hair in beds and couches left by previous guests. The downstairs master sheets were also stained and should have been replaced. Some of the cabinet drawers and doors are in pretty bad shape and should be replaced. Understanding that is a heavily wooded area, additional attention to pest control is a must. There is a slight carpenter ant problem and mouse issue with one ending up in a trap in the living area prior to our departure. The beds were all comfortable and there are some nice touches like heated flooring, but details above need improvement before renting.
