Very nice location, very clean and well maintained. We took this as it advertised 4 beds and it took a bit of searching to find the slide out bed. Very happy in general.
Great place! Very convenient to all breweries and very clean!

Awesome quiet spot
This home provided everything we needed and was very well thought out for visitors. A Very modern and comfortable home. Pretty scenery around the property as well. There were deer that wandered the property, which was really cool to see. I don’t have any negative things to say about my stay here. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall nice place and we’d stay again! The house does have a very strong odor of mothballs and I wasn’t sure why. Otherwise good accommodations and location!

Great location!
Home is right off VA Route 151 which has access to tons of cideries, breweries, wineries, farms and shops. Feels like you're in the countryside, but you still have easy access to basic amenities. Charlottesville is easy to get to as well. The home itself is beautifully renovated! We were very cozy, and loved using the fire pit under the stars. Great for the price as well! Note that the driveway is unpaved and uphill, so if you have a sedan/lower car you'll want to take it slow going up to the house.
We loved the location and being so close to places we love in the mountains. The house had everything we needed (except laundry detergent). The beds were comfy. We loved the campfire area so much with the lights. The only downside was the mothball smell and trying to figure out the trash situation since we needed to empty it and there's nowhere to put it outside. The host was very responsive to questions and small issues we had. Loved our time!!
Great, private and convenient to all we wanted to do
This property was just what we needed, traveling with two small dogs. I'm most interested in cleanliness, and I do a quick inspection as soon as we enter. This property was spotless. The floors are LVP and the only rug is in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped for any cooking and serving of food, although we only were there for breakfast. I did smell the "moth ball" scent as soon as we entered, but I am certain it was eminating from the Glade automatic air freshener, so I removed the battery while we were there and it seemed to dissipate. Notes (not criticism) that may be helpful: the driveway is right at the "end of state maintenance" sign on the road, so don't make the left turn or you've missed it; the bed sheets are microfiber--I don't really love them, but they were better than some and if you're not a fan, consider bringing some from home; the host provides ample towels and you may have to use a hand towel for a bath mat so you're not tracking water on the floor; they provide hand soap at the sinks, but bring your own body wash and shampoos; if you're traveling with a larger dog, there is a paw cleaner (we googled it) and there are furniture covers for the sectional so that dogs aren't on the furniture; there are lots of kinds of games to play; the fire pit is great, but stop in town to buy a bundle of wood on the way (8 at IGA). You WILL see deer in the yard and on the drive, so be careful to watch for them. Great experience and recommend!
