What a great place! They have thought of everything a traveler may need and so much more! The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment to make meals at home. We are past the baby stage, but it looks like they have eveything you would need for a baby. The house is lovely, very clean, and newly updated. The deck and yard are a nice retreat. There is a very busy road at the front of the house and train tracks for amtrak behind the house, but it didn't impact our experience or sleep. Very close to Central Beach and they have a lot of beach stuff - chairs, towels, toys. The house is just down the road from a Dollar General and there are several grocery chain stores and lots of shopping within 5 miles. The hosts were fabulous with communication! We had a great time!

Best stocked rental property we ever stayed at!

Beautifully stocked and tastefully done property! Perfect size for 2 families with kids. Great deck , bird feeders in backyard was a treat!! Hosts went out of the way to make us feel welcomed and at home!

Teen trip

Myself and a couple other moms brought our teen daughters for a weekend away. The property was adorable and clean and very well stocked. The hosts were very reachable and very accommodating. We really enjoyed it!

Fantastic Stay!!

Home was just as represented online....beautifully decorated, very clean and every amenity you would need, from beach towels to coffee to kid's toys to a lovely "Welcome Basket". Check-in was super, super easy and our host was able to allow us early in and later out. Can't say enough about our hosts! They were available with any questions and offered lots of great information. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Relaxing little get away

The house and backyard was a lovely little getaway from the city and very close to the Indiana Dunes National/State Park. Spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the backyard, bird feeders, and listening to the owls beyond the train tracks. The firepit and gazebo made it enjoyable, even as it rained. The house itself was clean and has everything you needed. Highly recommend.

Birds, butterflies, beach..family

We have stayed at VRBO's & resorts in many states & the U.K. We have NEVER had one so fully equipped!There was nothing I wanted that was not supplied. The birdhouses in the backyard allowed us to identify multiple species, the butterflies fluttered allover. We had a family member 3 weeks post-op, and The best we have found:)the host told us what beach had the easiest access:).

Beautiful cozy home!

We loved this place! It was set up with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. This home is located on a highway so there is noise from that. Also at the rear of the property is a train track that is busy. We were still able to relax in the beautiful gazebo on the back deck. Would definately go back!

This property was great! Kathleen directly contacted me a couple of days before our trip with information on how to get into the house. She even had an individualized goodie basket for my kids and my husband and I. The house was stocked with anything you could want or need for a family…we played games, colored, used the beach toys and chairs, sat outside at night without being eaten alive, and got to run around in the big backyard. The house is also pretty centrally located to everything, but we loved the quietness of Central Beach. We definitely recommend this house for anyone with kids!

Over the Top Amenities

The Indiana Dunes Home was amazing! This house was the best stocked rental we had ever stayed at. They truly had everything we needed and so much more than expected. We brought several young children and there were indoor and outdoor toys and games to entertain all of them. Every room is beautifully decorated and in mint condition. The back patio was beautiful and a great spot to relax and enjoy the wildlife. We made all but one meal at the rental and there was nothing lacking in the kitchen, truly, it was as easy as cooking at home. The location was wonderful, just a short drive to several beaches, parks and trails. The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend this rental.

I've stayed in many short term rentals, and this by far was furnished and stocked the best! Every kitchen tool, household item or activity was thought of and provided for. Super impressed with how thorough the hosts were in creating this wonderful space. My group of four women especially enjoyed the outdoor deck space and the great kitchen.Everything is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and would love to come back!
