The unit could at least be cleaned between guests. Kitchen, bathroom, walls and floors were not cleaned. Even the pan on the stove needed to be washed.

It did the trick for us.The beds were comfortable but it does need some repairs and the walls washed. There were very few towels 2 bath one hand towel, no face cloths, so we had to purchase some. There is no couches, just 2 kitchen stools. The floors made my feet black so definitely need to be washed and the shower is in need of a thorough cleaning

I guess the only good thing we can say about this listing is that it has a flush toilet and running water.The building itself is very beat up, the elevator is filthy and we can only assume that it was primarily built as a student rental and is listed for summers as a VRBO. The contents are basic, the fabric headboards are stained, and the contents of the kitchen are inadequate to actually make meals. The check in information was not sent to us in the timeframe that was originally promised so we had to call VRBO to ask for assistance. The owner was responsive when we requested coffee mugs as a kettle was on the counter but only glasses were originally available for drinking hot beverages. The living room was made in to a second bedroom so there was nowhere to actually sit except for the chairs around the kitchen island. Note that parking is not included and you will need to create an account for consideration of overnight parking with the City of Waterloo and then be prepared to move your vehicle every 3 hours during the day.

THE UNIT WAS VERY CLEAN. DURING OUR STAY IT WAS VERY QUIET IN THE BUILDING WHICH WAS VERY NICE. THE UNIT ITSELF AS MENTIONED WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE LAYEOUT SUITED OUR NEEDS., ON THE NEAGITVE SIDE THE UNIT LACKED THE BASICS THAT NORMALLY ARE AVAILABLE IN A UNIT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I RENTED A UNIT AND HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY A CANOPENER, A T-TOWEL TO DRY ANY DISHES THAT WERE DONE BY HAND AND ALSO HAND TOWELS FOR THE BATHROOM.THE UNIT WAS CLEAN, QUIET BUT NEEDED SOME MORE THINGS TO MAKE IT AN EFECTRIVE RENTAL UNIT. I..E. THE Things I MENTIONED EARLIER AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE POT TO COOK WTH, WHICH IS NOT ENOUGH, AND THERE WASN'T EITHER A COFFEE MAKER OR A TEA POT.
